The only real way to know for sure is to have a dentist take a look at the actual condition of that specific tooth.

Exactly! A dentist needs to make the call. But since it's Saturday and nothing is happening until Monday, I’m just taking an antibiotic on my own. Based on past experience, I always go with Klavophar—it used to be called Klavocin. I'm strictly taking it to calm the swelling so things don't get worse, or maybe so that by Monday everything is "settled" enough to actually pull the decayed tooth.

What I'm mostly worried about is whether the antibiotic will mess up my blood work or anything like that during the surgery prep. I really don't want to have to redo all those tests!
I'm scheduled for nose surgery on December 1st. Everything looks perfect on the pre-op tests, so now I’m just counting down the days. But then, out of nowhere, this tooth starts acting up—it's my second molar. Since it's half a root canal already, a little pocket formed at the top of the root and it's actually inflamed the gum. So, here's the thing: am I allowed to take antibiotics before the surgery? Specifically Klavocin

I was thinking maybe I should just try to calm the inflammation down for now and wait until after the surgery to get the tooth fully fixed, since the nose is my number one priority right now
Hey everyone, so I’ve got this issue with nasal kyphosis—basically, my doctor says my nasal pyramid is shifted to the right. My nose is basically veering off to one side. It all started because I took two hits to the face a few years back. Lately, it’s actually started messing with my breathing on one side, which is the main reason I’m looking into this. Of course, there's the aesthetic part too, but since they have to straighten it out for functional reasons anyway, we might as well fix how it looks at the same time.

I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with nasal kyphosis themselves? You know, that technical term where the nasal pyramid shifts?

And most importantly, does anyone know how much downtime I should expect after being discharged from the hospital (probably around day 5 or 6)?

😛
