So, who was your surgeon?🎉 🎉 🎉
wanderingorca4 said:I'm not entirely sure how lymphatic drainage helps here, since, well, like the name suggests, it's mostly used to reduce swelling and bruising so the skin can settle back into place properly. When it comes to those little lumps forming, I guess we might be looking at bone regrowth, which is just something that happens naturally for some people and usually requires surgery to fix. If you can actually see it, maybe it's worth scheduling a procedure, but if not, it might just be best to leave it alone.

You make a good point, but I suppose if they had done the drainage, there might have been a smaller chance of that lump showing up in the first place.
Linda Cox2 said:Could someone please let me know if it's normal? It's been two weeks since my rhinoplasty, and I can feel the bone under my finger on one side. I had my surgery done by Glumcic.;

I've been reading through this forum, and I think there's stuff on Glumcic's website too about how this might happen. I guess it's kind of like scar tissue, since everyone's bones heal a little differently. Usually, they recommend lymphatic drainage for things like that, though I'm not sure if he mentioned it to you. In any case, maybe just check in with him to be safe.
Brenda Rivera34 said:Hey there! I actually just had my surgery with Dr. Glumcic recently too, so if anyone has questions, please feel free to ask me anything... Honestly, I mostly agree with what driftingheron34 wrote in that long 🙂 (sorry, I'm still new here so I'm not quite sure how to tag that specifically)

If you don't mind sharing all the details, 🙂 what is it about your nose that you aren't happy with?😢
wanderingstag9 said:That’s possible, $200 maybe you're just feeling it

It's awesome when you can 🎉 🎉 🎉 I think that's about $90, right?😁
Kimberly Thompson75 said:Well, I guess it's my turn to chime in after all this time and share my experience, though it definitely wasn't ideal. When I first went in for my nose job, I didn't really know much about the whole process—I hadn't spent much time lurking on forums or anything. I just went straight to Dr. Borić, and honestly, he didn't just mess up my nose; it ended up looking totally bulbous. After that disaster, I started actually reading up on things and trying to figure out which surgeon could actually fix the mess. A friend eventually suggested Dr. Ostojić, saying he basically saved her nose from previous bad jobs... and since some girls on the forums seemed really happy with him too, I figured, okay, maybe this is the one. I went in for a consultation, we worked everything out, and I was back on the operating table just a week later. Everything went smoothly during the surgery, and I was actually pretty relieved because he said I wouldn't even need nasal packing, which felt like a win. But man, once the cast came off, I just sat there crossing my fingers and praying to myself that my nose would actually change. Meanwhile, he kept insisting the nose looked PERFECT. I remember asking him, "Doc, I really hope it doesn't look like this in a year?" and he just doubled down, telling me it was perfect. I just thought, "Okay, fine," but deep down I was terrified it would stay wide, triangular, and bulbous forever. Well, fast forward a year and a half, and I have to tell you, the nose looks awful. I almost wish it still looked the way it did right after the cast came off when I was praying for it to be prettier. Now, it’s even worse. To top it all off, I have a hole right in the middle, one nostril is larger than the other, and I still have surgical threads in my nose after 1.5 years—they were supposed to dissolve ages ago! Who knows how much longer they'll stay there? Anyway, I'm planning to see Glumcic in about eight months, and I'm really hoping he can somehow fix this total wreck. :-D

I'm so sorry you had to deal with all of that. Please keep us posted, 🙂 I really hope you get a much better result this time around. 😛

Well, if you go that route, just be prepared to breathe through your mouth for the rest of your life. I mean, with a nose shaped like that, there’s basically zero chance oxygen is actually flowing through your nasal passages properly. It's your call, though—just remember a nose isn't just for looks; it actually has a pretty important job to do.

If I really had to pick, based purely on my own personal taste... I'd probably go with Zambelli or maybe even the older Tončić, not his son. They both seem to aim for a more natural, slightly fuller look. They seem to focus on how the nose fits the whole face instead of just following some cookie-cutter template.
Of course, nobody's perfect and anyone could make a mistake, I'm just sharing who I'd personally trust.
At the end of the day, you know your own style best, so you should pick the surgeon that matches your vibe.

I've heard that Zambelli's name mentioned before, but I don't really know much about his specific work. Thanks for the advice, anyway!😛
driftingheron34 said:Looking back at Glumcic's work, I honestly feel like he uses a bit of a template for his rhinoplasty patients—you know, lifting them up and slimming down the profile for everyone—so he might not be the best surgeon out there.
I’m just not a fan of the noses he did for Blanka (they really don't suit her at all), jelen Glišič, Severina's first one (I think he took out way too much cartilage), Nina Morić, Antea Kodžoman, or Marko Grubnić... If you actually like how those turned out after looking closely, that's totally fine, I guess! It just means we have different tastes.

I didn't even really notice him until I saw Emina J. ja's nose. Since I have a pretty small face, maybe a tiny "Barbie nose" would actually look good on me.🎉 On this forum, it seems like every doctor gets hit with negative comments, but I think he probably gets the least amount of heat. In my area, a rhinoplasty and septoplasty together go for about $1,300. Glumcic is definitely more expensive, but I think I'd rather go to him.
Chloe Collins72 said:Hey there! Thanks so much for all the info everyone’s been sharing over the last few days. I was wondering, which day do they usually take out the packing, and when does everything else get removed? Also, can you head straight back to work right after that? On the day you finally go home, how are you actually feeling? I mean, how much downtime do you really need to feel like yourself again?

Is it possible to pay extra to stay at his clinic for those couple of nights after the packing comes out
?🍿
Ryan Davis2 said:Maybe Glumcic is being a nationalist by charging people based on where they're from?? I honestly have no idea where those kinds of silly rumors even come from. If you decide to book an operation at his clinic, I guess why would he care about your background?

If you read back through a few of the posts, you'll see that someone actually said that exact thing to me. It isn't really my own conclusion, just what they were saying.
Ashley Bishop43 said:No worries at all. I'm just sharing what happened to me. As for that part, I honestly don't know 😢 I guess the price should probably be different based on how I see it

People say he does those cute, small noses, which is actually exactly what I'm looking for. But, I don't know, I get really nervous about having those nasal tampons in there. I have a bit of a phobia when it comes to feeling like I can't breathe, I guess.😢
Ashley Bishop43 said:Gosh, I really can't bring myself to agree with this post.

First off, the consultation was honestly brilliant. I was in there for at least half an hour, and he explained everything so clearly. We settled on the shape of my nose, he showed me tons of photos, and we just chatted and joked around a bit—I don't even know what else we did in there. Paying for a consultation and exam is pretty standard everywhere, right? Whether you're seeing a private eye doctor or a gynecologist, you expect to pay for their time. I don't see anything controversial about that at all.

And saying he doesn't respect what clients want? 🙂 That's just total nonsense. He’s a complete professional and does exactly what you ask him to do. (I actually talked to about ten other women there who had nose surgery, and they were all super happy.)
Of course, there will always be some unhappy people, maybe because folks ask for too much or have unrealistic expectations.

As for why he seems busier than everyone else, it's simply because he's genuinely good at what he does. 🙂 If he wasn't, people wouldn't keep coming back. That's for sure. I'd warmly recommend him to anyone; if I had known things would turn out this well, I would've had my nose done a long time ago.

Oh, thanks! You've definitely calmed my nerves a bit. I guess... is it possible the cost could be around $3,500 to $4,000 since I'm coming from out of state?
Hi there! I'm new to the forum and just finished reading through everything carefully. Since I'm not from the US, I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what the costs would be for aesthetics or a deviation correction with Glumcic? Also, is he really as good as everyone makes him out to be? I guess I'd love to hear your thoughts. :klap:
