Rhinoplasty: Experiences and recovery tips?

I know he’s done some gorgeous noses, but man, he also leaves behind some seriously unwanted results. It's the honest truth, though maybe people just don't talk about it openly on here anymore because they move the convo to private messages or meet up offline...
She had this minor issue where her nose got slightly crooked, and this little bump popped up on the bridge when looking at her from a side profile...
Later on, Glumicic told her she absolutely shouldn't let anyone just "sand down" that bump—because that was all she actually wanted! She was honestly happy with how her nose looked from the front and overall, but he insisted that's not how it works and warned her he'd ruin her whole face if they went that route. He claimed the entire nose would need to be restructured from the bridge down to the tip just to make a tiny change she'd actually like, while everyone else wouldn't even notice... But it turns out that wasn't even true, because surgeons out there don't necessarily have to redo the whole thing, you just have to be really skilled at it. The result? Her profile looks terrible now, and from the front, it's way too upturned and feminine, which she hates... plus they took too much cartilage away and left a weird bump right on the tip. Basically, her profile looks like a literal slide, all shortened at the top when seen from a semi-profile view. I'm not saying he disfigured her or anything, but overall, her nose looks worse than before and nobody would actually be happy with that end result...
I'm not trying to scare anyone off or anything, I'm just saying that none of our surgeons can give you a 100% guarantee that you'll love the outcome or that it'll turn out exactly how you pictured it in your head. With rhinoplasty, there's so much you just can't predict, from the healing process to how the internal structures and cartilage settle during and after surgery. When you're dealing with Glumicic, you have to micromanage every single detail so you don't end up with a nose that looks like a slide from the side... And trust me, there have been plenty of those cases, some people might pull it off, but for many, it's definitely not it...
And everyone keeps saying he's famous for making noses look like slides, which I am NOT feeling at all, and I definitely wouldn't want to get my whole nose redone. I just want that one little bump gone...
A coworker told me her sister went to see Dr. Miller for a nose job and augmentation, and she is super happy with the results and the whole team there. Looking at the gallery on their website, they've done a lot of beautiful noses. I might actually go there for a consultation....
