I guess people just don't want to believe conspiracies can actually happen.
But they can. Honestly.
People tend to look the other way, especially if they’re the kind of folks willing to donate their own organs to help others. They can't wrap their heads around the idea that some people might just let them die—maybe even ensure it happens—just because someone else is paying top dollar for an organ. Like, someone needs a kidney, and someone else has the cash. It's dark, I know.
There was this massive scandal over in Mexico involving child theft that dragged on for years.
It was heartbreaking; parents would lose their children, and those kids were essentially being handed over to whoever had the money.
Maybe it's easier to steal an organ from someone already in the hospital—someone labeled as "unhealthy" or someone who's already in a bad spot—than it is to snatch a perfectly healthy baby.
When there's an accident or a sudden illness, things "complicating" during treatment doesn't seem as suspicious to most people.
Back then, there were several websites dedicated to this, though they all struggled since nobody wanted to host that kind of content on their servers.
There were even reports coming out of Boston about families losing babies under really suspicious circumstances—babies born perfectly healthy who suddenly passed away just days later, often without death certificates being issued or any chance for the parents to even hold their child one last time.
I can't find all the old sites anymore, but I did manage to track down one. It might be worth a look, I suppose.
