After about half an hour, it just hung on "personal setting (not responding)" and went back to waiting. Does anyone know if there's a workaround for this, or am I stuck doing a full reinstall?

Windows 10 prompted me for an upgrade, but now I’m stuck in a loop. Every time I boot up, it goes through the login screen, hits a black screen, and then just sits there with a cursor. Nothing else happens.
Does anyone know how I can save the files on my hard drive or find a way to get my data back?

Yeah, I can see it showing up in the Device Manager, but it stays stuck on OFF. Even when I jump into the WiFi properties and try to toggle it to ON, the computer just flips it right back to OFF the second I close out of the manager. I already tried running all the macOS updates, but no luck so far. At this rate, I’ll probably just have to wipe everything and reinstall macOS from scratch.

I'm having a real headache with my Dell Latitude—I just can't get the Wi-Fi to kick in no matter what I try. I've already gone through the whole process of uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, but nothing seems to change. It's running Windows 10.
Any advice on what I should do next?

I'm looking for a way to cap the volume output from my sound card so that nobody can mess with it except me. Is there a way to lock the volume level so others can't turn it up or down?

Alright, so how do I actually get rid of it? And more importantly, is there any way to get my lost files back?

My computer's been hit by some kind of virus that’s encrypting all my files and slapping a THOR extension on them. I just got a message saying my data is encrypted with 128-bit encryption and that I need to follow the instructions they sent over. Is there any actual way to get my files back?

I'm running into a bit of a headache where I can't open my xls files directly by double-clicking them. When I try, Excel launches, but instead of seeing my data, I just get stuck staring at a blank blue screen. It works perfectly fine if I manually open Excel first, hit "Open," and then navigate to the file. I'm using Office 2003. At first, I figured it was just an issue with the software itself, so I tried a full reinstall, but no luck—the same thing keeps happening. In my file properties, Excel is already set as the default program for the xls extension. Any idea how to fix this? I tried messing around with some utility tools I found online, but nothing seems to work.🤷

I’ve got an Apple color printer, a Brother HL-L2300D. I just ran through the initial toner cartridges, and now I'm looking at my options for refilling them. Is there some kind of software reset I can run, or am I stuck buying individual reset chips for every single cartridge? Also, does anyone know where I can find the cheapest ones online?

So, here’s the deal with Windows: when I popped that card into the PCI slot, the system started hunting for a driver but couldn't find one. Now, if you look in Device Manager, it just shows up under "Other devices" as a 'Network Controller' with a little yellow exclamation mark next to it. To make things a bit more complicated, I'm running entirely on wireless at home right now, so I can't even jump online to update Windows.

I just installed a wp81r1 wireless PCI card, but Windows 7 isn't recognizing it at all. I even tried using a universal driver for wireless PCI cards, but no luck—Windows 7 still won't see the hardware. Any idea what I should do?

I was wondering if any of these happen to have a dedicated video input?
If none of them work, what would you recommend as a budget-friendly TV tuner card? I really just need something cheap to help me transfer about ten tapes over to a disc.

2. Radeon HD 4350

Do either of these actually feature a video input?

Does anyone know how I can print an A3-sized image on this A4 printer? Every time I go to print from any program, it only gives me options for paper sizes smaller than A4, and when I try to set a custom size, it won't let me select anything larger than what's in the tray.

It’s honestly not worth the hassle. Half the software I use just won't run on it. Take Delphi 7, for example.
