I went ahead and placed my order through the admin portal
I hear you, I really do—but whenever my gear starts acting up, I just have to ship it off to Monterey
Anyway, I finally pulled the trigger and decided on a build (it’s about time!)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
Gigabyte DS3P
EVGA R7 265
Crucial 4GB
Toshiba 500GB
Corsair CX 430W
Zalman Z3
In a year or so, I'll probably grab some extra RAM and maybe an aftermarket cooler
And yeah... thanks everyone! 😉
Heh, well, you caught me! I definitely did. 😁
About a month ago, I ended up cramming both an aftermarket cooler and a tiny Z1 case into my rig—and now I’m stuck having to pick one to toss out. Talk about a self-inflicted headache, right? -_-#
I really wanted to order some parts from Nine, but man, the distance is such a pain—he's over in Monterey and I'm all the way out here in Salina.
So, just like the title says—I'm really curious to see what kind of temperatures I’m looking at with this cooler, or if I should just bite the bullet and pick up an aftermarket one instead.
My case is a Z3
Is there actually any meaningful difference between the FX-4300 and the Athlon 760K? I'm trying to figure out which one would be the better pick if I want to get some gaming in! 😉
