Laura James11 said:Personally, I have super sensitive skin and a really finicky stomach, so I was fully expecting to wake up feeling nauseous and dealing with puffy eyes. Turns out, none of that happened. There’s really no need to stress beforehand 😉—my stomach didn't bother me at all, I just felt pretty sleepy... My only real annoyance was how numb my teeth and gums felt, which was a bit irritating, but nothing major. Good luck! 🙂
Thanks so much!! I have to admit, reading this makes me feel a lot better 🙂 I’m really hoping I have a positive experience too 🙂
Just one more thing—has anyone tried any specific gels for bruising that might pop up? I read that taking Vitamin C is helpful, or eating fresh pineapple since it has bromelain (or even just taking bromelain supplements), plus applying some Heparin gel.
Thanks 😉
After I finished typing that out, I realized my post made it sound like I'm literally puking out of my nose, hahaha! 🤣 Honestly, I'm just terrified of choking. I don't know... maybe I'm just being totally paranoid. But thanks for the support, everyone. 😉
Hey everyone. After thinking about it for years, I’ve finally decided to pull the trigger on nose surgery. My nose was broken, which makes breathing pretty tough, so I'm going to get it fixed up—and honestly, I'll take the chance to touch up the aesthetics a bit too. To be totally real with you, the one thing keeping me up at night isn't the surgery itself, it's the anesthesia. I’ve never been under general anesthesia before, and I am absolutely terrified of it. My doctor said it'll be general, and my biggest fear is what happens if I feel nauseous and need to throw up while my nose is all stuffed up with packing?! If anyone has gone through this and can share what the recovery from anesthesia felt like, I would be so incredibly grateful. Thanks!
Hey everyone, here's another update🙄
I’ve been reading through all these posts so closely that my eyes are actually starting to hurt—I've been glued to my computer screen for hours now🤣
Anyway, after looking at everything in detail, I've decided to go with Dr. Miller. But, of course, I've run into a little snag. I really need to get this over with as soon as possible because my ragweed allergies are absolutely brutal. I can't really deal with the summer heat, and honestly, I don't think the surgery will do much good if my nose is completely stuffed up from allergies anyway. Plus, I'm currently in the middle of my studies, and I really shouldn't be skipping classes. So, I was wondering: how long does it usually take before I can head out into the world again without people staring at me like I'm an alien?🤣🤣
Thanks so much😁
