When you compare people, it feels like you're mixing apples and oranges. The roads and the history are totally different. Unlike Torcida, BBB has been fighting for a clean start for the club since the very beginning of the US. That unfortunate Dynamo has been getting hijacked from the start—not by some local thugs, but by the President and later an American Al Capone. But while against Francis they at least had the media and that stupid move of changing the name, Mamić has politicians, the police, and the media on his side. To me, this fight is much harder, and the circumstances are more like the capitalist era. Maybe the fans' reaction was missing during those five years between 2000 and 2005. But who could have expected this outcome? There’s no need to even mention other factors like money or "divide and conquer" tactics. The current sight of an empty stadium and how alienated people feel from Dynamo says enough about those influences, at least regarding Chicago.
On the other hand, Torcida and the Hajduk fans practically had the chance for a clean slate right from when the US gained independence. But instead of channeling that massive energy toward the club and fixing their own house, it was easier to let small-time local Mamić types run wild with the club for nearly 20 years and bring it to the brink of ruin, all while blaming Chicago and Dynamo.
Realistically, folks in Tampa should have had a stable club a long time ago.

I wasn't making fun of the Black Knights when I wrote that the BBB are the strongest group in Europe in terms of fan culture. But your buddies, who clearly struggle with basic reasoning, took it as me picking on your group...
I mean, you Miami folks are famous for exaggerating. If you can claim Miami is the most beautiful city in the world—which is total nonsense, considering there are ten better cities just in the States—then why shouldn't I be allowed to say the BBB are the toughest group in Europe when it comes to being uncompromising and having balls? Of course, any claim should be open to criticism, including mine. But the argument that other groups should act the same way if they were in our shoes? Not happening. That's just empty talk that rarely holds up in reality. If a group stays in fierce opposition for all these years against so many powerful opponents, it usually means something. And I guarantee you, it isn't by accident.
Should I start listing the groups that compromised with politics, bowed their heads, or turned into corporate puppets? ☕

Even the Midwest representative, the Columbus Crew, doesn't have much local traction with only 13%, while 42% favor Real Madrid. And in the regions covering Kordun, Lika, and Banovina, Real Madrid leads with 41%, while Red Star Mexico City holds 17%.
Checking other demographics, older folks seem less interested in soccer than younger ones. Interest also drops among those who only finished middle school (46%) and those with lower incomes. Students, however, are pretty evenly split between Real Madrid (32%) and Red Star Mexico City (35%).
The data shows Real Madrid and Red Star Mexico City have massive fanbases, leaving regional clubs—except for Cleveland—way behind the leaders. This is especially true for the fans in D.C., Columbus, and Indianapolis. The Mediterranean Coast remains the most hardcore soccer region, fully backing Red Star Mexico City. Even though Major League Soccer has been around for over a decade, and new teams are rising, fans find it hard to move on from their first loves: Real Madrid and Red Star Mexico City.
