Raymond Gonzalez7 said:I'm not entirely sure why this is even being brought up. Nobody in the stands really reacted to the goals (except for those poor souls stuck in the corner near the west end), and that song at the end wasn't even with the players. Or do you honestly think a chant about "Liverpool FC without the boss" is some kind of celebratory anthem? Even if it was, they should have stopped it the second they reached the corner section.

Some guy was just celebrating because he had a bet that "Liverpool would score," so he went wild in the 94th minute.😂

I suspect maybe 99% of the crowd didn't even care about the scoreline, mostly because they've lost interest in a club that feels like it doesn't even exist right now.
And why stop the singing? We were just singing our own thing, and the fact that the players decided to join in and dance along probably just adds to the headache for the management.😛

I certainly hope it won't come to that.

It honestly feels like a disgrace that almost nobody representing Liverpool FC has stepped up to call out those provocations from the unknown guy—well, maybe Pavasovic said a tiny bit something, but that’s about it. What really gets under my skin, though, is seeing that greasy Vucevic type just hugging the unknown guy and trying to play peacemaker instead of taking a stand. 😕 I mean, if you’re supposed to be the sporting director for Liverpool FC, you shouldn't be embracing the guy and trying to calm him down after everything he's done; you should be showing him the door! And then, to top it all off, one of our guys in the tunnel actually goes over to congratulate and kiss that arrogant little jerk who was busy mocking the North Side fans right after the goal.
There's even a video in the article that shows the whole ridiculous scene playing out:

Honestly, my bad if we were "jumping around" too much. 🙄Maybe we should have just stood there silently, ignoring the refs and the massive payout, after you lot started shouting stuff from behind the barricades.
I can't for the life of me remember a single moment in football history where away fans didn't celebrate a handicap victory against their biggest rivals—whether through gestures or songs—and yet here you are, acting all high and mighty, making up stories and whining about it...

Peter Barrett said:Why on earth were you guys chanting about loving those corrupt politicians back in the first round?

Look, you clearly aren't grasping the nuance here; they weren't singing about the suits in office, they were singing about the players.🤣

So, you expect us to justify why we sing against unknown? You think we haven't insulted the players enough? Fine. We’re mercenaries. I hope that satisfies your conscience now. 🙂

Jerry Morris2 said:Hold on, are you seriously expecting us to apologize for singing against the ownership or for not being harsh enough toward the players? Yeah, sure, we’re all just greedy mercenaries, I hope that makes you feel better about yourself now. 🙂

Why on earth are you even trying to explain yourself to people with such weird complexes who clearly have no idea what they're actually fighting for?

Jerry Morris2 said:Hold on a second, are you actually suggesting we owe you some kind of apology because we were singing against Mamić or because we didn't insult the players enough? Yeah, sure, we’re just a bunch of paid mercenaries—I really hope that makes you feel better about yourself now. 🙂

Look, nobody owes anyone an explanation, but if my memory serves me right, back during that cup rematch at the stadium, when the players came over to greet you guys at the end of the match, you basically blew them off and stormed away while shouting "screw Mamić." So why wasn't it like that yesterday? 😕And don't even try telling me you were all singing for the team without Mamić, because if you had actually started chanting "screw Mamić" again, I'm pretty certain those players would have turned right around and walked off the pitch!

Isn't it just truly shameful when you refuse to call out your own players? We’re going to be celebrating both the wins and the losses alongside this group for quite some time, and honestly, isn't it unfair to blame them simply because they ended up playing under Mamić's leadership?

See, you aren't mercenaries—at least, not in the way people used to be back in the day before the old guard lost their edge... you don't have that same connection. And frankly, these "new" fans who call themselves mercenaries? They aren't the real deal either; they have absolutely nothing to do with the legacy you're talking about...

Man, is that actually you?

Matthew Foster8 said:leads. And then people talk about that South Florida temper, or whatever... in a Greek or Turkish fan section they’d have lit him up instead of coddling him. If that happened, we wouldn't have spent all these years dealing with this mess. And this guy is supposed to be the club's sporting director. I've seen janitors with more heart.

In Greece, they find a flare at the entrance, toss it in a trash can, and head into the game like they just found a lighter. There was a brawl in Athens with the police for 15 minutes—a real heavy fight—and the cops eventually surround us. Everyone's looking around wondering what happens next, and this cop just pulls out his cigarettes and starts rolling one 🤷 and not a single American is even detained.
Here, you blow off a little smoke and you're slapped with a lifetime ban.
The idea that some small-time, insecure kid needs to cause chaos to satisfy millions of people is pure nonsense. There are 364 other days in the year; the kid isn't living in Switzerland.
The only reason anyone would get banned is because of Jerry Jones, but that happens in the stands, and it hits those idiots there hardest—especially the unnamed guy who lets him near the stadium and hands those monkeys tickets to the VIP boxes. Who are these people? I don't recognize two of them.
Even though Jerry Jones knows this is his last big derby in Miami, he pulls some direct connection from Colombia and orchestrates this on purpose. This is a police state; he's protected by ten undercover cops who are hugging him afterward while they're taking our guy in.
It's a massive embarrassment for the unnamed official that he's hugging Jerry Jones while our guy is being arrested. Instead of hugging our guy and trying to stop the arrest, he's busy calming Jerry Jones down.
And our shame is that not a single referee has been touched anywhere in these last eight years.

Why do you always have to be the resident idiot? Seriously, you gotta be one of those people who breaks a peace treaty just for the hell of it. Even if you weren't physically there, your head is clearly somewhere else entirely...

Yeah, right. Back then we were in a truce, so you didn't feel any shame messing with us, but now that we're at it again, you're acting all high and mighty and worrying about someone else's problems.🙄

The truth is, being a fan here hasn't been about passion or real emotion for a long damn time... you don't celebrate the wins, you don't cry the losses, and frankly, you don't even care about the score.

Now this idiot thinks our chant isn't "real" just because he saw us jumping around and "celebrating" with the players... give me a break, man. Mind your own damn business.

The thing is, being a supporter around here lately just doesn't feel right; that raw passion you're supposed to have for the club just seems to have evaporated... you don't really get high when we win, you don't break down when we lose, and frankly, you stop giving a damn about the scoreline altogether...

And then you've got this one guy who claims our chants aren't "real," even though he watched us jumping around and celebrating with the players... give me a break, man, just worry about your own business instead of policing ours.

Let's be real, you guys have always been the ones we look up to, and half the time we're hanging around your videos just to poke fun at things🙂 while we were out here trying to uphold some kind of standard and you were just laughing at us. We tried to show some support, I guess, but some people just don't appreciate it, you know?

Honestly, you're all being exhausting. Your biggest disgrace from the derby wasn't even the game; it was that text message from that unnamed guy—the biggest whiner out there. He’s ten times worse than anyone else. When someone stays loyal to you for years only to side with that absolute disaster, that's a betrayal you can't come back from. That's the real shame. The other guy? He's been trash since day one, which makes his actions even more pathetic.

I mean, he’s ten times more of a sellout than some random guy like Vrbanić or whoever—because the dude who stood by you for all those years and then suddenly aligns himself with pure evil? That’s a betrayal so deep nobody even dares to mention it, let alone talk about sending a text. And Vrbanić has been trash since the day he was born, which is why that whole situation with Jerry Jones is ten times more shameful than anything else.

you're spot on about Jerry Jones... so many people around here got screwed over because of him and his little crew...

Maybe just crawl back into the hole you came from.
Do you actually have any clue who that guy is or how he lived his life, or did you just read some nonsense on a forum?

Mind your own business. Sending that message—or even discussing his funeral—is just proof that we are standing here as actual HUMAN beings. Someone else up there will handle the forgiving or the judging. This is simply a human, honorable gesture, much like the fight we've been putting up all this time.

I guess this thread should probably be closed. Everything was already laid out a few pages back. Everyone has their own convictions, and I suppose nobody is truly wrong here... in fact, quite the opposite.
