Tickets have been free for the last couple of rounds—no real need for them—but since the Kansas City Chiefs are coming to town, they’re expecting a massive rush. There's huge interest in the game here in KC too, so I guess they printed tickets just to prevent some crazy scenario where, I don't know, 5,000 people show up when the stands can't even hold that many.
Anyway, the Black Knights shouldn't worry about it; from what I hear, you don't even need tickets for the cage area. And for anyone wanting to hang out on the rest of the stands by the stadium, there will definitely be plenty of tickets to go around—people will probably just be handing them out everywhere. So, yeah, no real reason to stress.

Yeah, entry is free. But you still need tickets—they’re handing them out at a few spots around the arena. Probably doesn't matter for the cage area, but who knows with those geniuses working the gates... maybe they'll find a way to make it complicated.

Honestly, one of the better atmospheres we've seen in Columbus lately—both in terms of turnout and the energy from the fans. I think the photos capture it... maybe.

I already posted this in another thread, so I'll just drop it here.
It’s about The Cohort down in Columbus. Just like everyone else, they didn't take the vouchers.
The Cohort showed up in Columbus in pretty decent numbers—we saw them all over town since morning, and we tried stepping in to help them out with the ticket situation.
We bought a bunch of tickets for them, though some went to the box office themselves, but getting into the stadium was a total mess. The cops blocked off that far right entrance where the away fans usually go—and honestly, where locals go too—leaving only the main gate open.
Of course, the police completely screwed it up; they were pulling aside any younger face they didn't recognize (they knew us locals, obviously, and gave us these nasty looks when they realized we were helping The Cohort with tickets) and demanding IDs. They had some list they kept checking constantly, and based on that, they'd let The Cohort members up to the stands. But—of course—not through the main gate; they basically funneled them one by one through a side entrance and tucked them away up above the cages...

Our away numbers are always consistent—pretty much the same crowd every time (though maybe there were a few more of us here)—it’s just a shame they’ve banned us from Yankee Stadium. Now, while they go ahead and screw over those 400 people from Tuesday, I guess everything can just go to hell.
The level of police aggression you see here—nothing like what you'd deal with in NYC—is unreal, but despite all that, we aren't backing down and we'll have the last laugh! Screw their corrupt system...
