Gary Martinez80 said:I think there was an agreement after the boycott that we’d only display the New York Yankees banner and stand by it, but now they’ve swapped that out for a bunch of these smaller ones. I don't really see what the issue is 🤷.

It's not like you guys get much grief when you're playing at home, anyway.

No harm in that, but I suppose if the club is behind it, this is one of those key parts of being a fan, since it adds some flavor and bumps up the adrenaline during away games. And honestly, I think what you said at the end is a bit silly; nobody is talking about the home games, we're talking about the away matches where banners can actually get lost... 😉

But hey, you gave me an answer to my question, even if it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Better than nothing, I guess.. 🙂

I suppose the question is actually valid, but you're just trying to act superior... I guess it’s probably more fun for you to just drop some mindless post on this forum and pray to God that someone actually finds it funny rather than calling you out on it. But hey, I suppose everyone has their own little way of being an idiot.😍

They’re being worn, sure, but none of them actually represent a specific team, neighborhood, or city... That’s really what I was getting at with those banners when I asked why people aren't sporting them. 🤷

Why aren't you guys wearing the transparent gear, and when exactly do you plan on putting it on? I'm wondering if it's because of the current numbers or maybe some sort of mutual agreement among yourselves. 🤷
Isn't it a little hypocritical to act like you're the toughest group in the galaxy while refusing to give anyone else a fair shot at proving you wrong? 😉

John Brown30 said:So, I guess the real issue here is that Marketing should even exist at all. Is it because we’re a supporter group, and we feel like we have to stay pure and untainted? Like, ultras are supposed to be the elite of society or some other theory people use to flatter themselves? Well, if that's the case, then I suppose I'm just being foolish! 🙂

Not quite. It’s more that things ought to be done for the fans themselves, rather than trying to appeal to the general public.🤷

I've been hanging out on the forums over at ForumN.com too 😍

So, what exactly are you all planning to change? I honestly don't get why everyone is tearing apart the guys who have stepped up to take charge. Are we really just going to go back to creating this constant internal friction? It feels like we’re heading straight back to those dark days where nothing but infighting in the North mattered, and our numbers just kept dropping to pathetic levels. 🙂
Is it really that much to ask to just endure half a season or so to see if this actually works? Maybe we could all just swallow our pride for once and actually stand behind these guys who are clearly trying. We could offer some constructive advice or point out actual issues... instead of turning the very group we claim to be so loyal to into a total circus just because of some individual egos and personal gripes. 🤷

I mean, what can I even say? I wonder which banner will be the first one to get set on fire at some rival's stadium. Maybe both 🤷

I feel like we’re looking like total clowns on this scene because of those banners. Everyone else keeps them locked away, or they're carried by groups who actually have the guts to stand their ground, while we just sit here acting like it's still some outdated era where every tiny town thinks they need their own little sign. It’s honestly pretty pathetic. There isn't even any real weight behind it, but seeing a rag with the Ultras name being burned by some wannabe fan group... I guess it just looks really ugly.

Some people actually refused to pay for their tickets after the absolute nightmare we went through on the bus. It left the hospital around 5:55 AM because of some supposed "mechanical issue," and before that, they kept making us shuffle in and out of the same doors like sheep. Then, things just boiled over when we ended up getting shoved around by the police because they wouldn't let us just walk out on foot.🤷

Bradley Fisher18 said:So, here’s basically a quick message from a veteran member of the No Name Boys:

Hey!!
There were nearly 3,000 Russians over in Lisbon
and we went after them!
We actually won the street fight!
I mean, we figured they might be tough opponents,
but we managed to absolutely crush them
right in the heart of downtown—around areas like the main plaza and near the stadium
They even lost some of their flags and scarves...
We totally dominated in Lisbon!!
No one wants to mess with the No Name Boys and the Black Knights
It is Our Honour!!

If this is actually true—and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be—then massive props to the NN boys!!

I honestly think it all comes down to how things are organized. If we had brought that same massive crowd we had during those away trips (like when we were out in places like Chicago or Philly), even the Russians wouldn't have had such an easy time attacking us or snatching our flags. I really feel like we need to address this, because if we keep up with this chaotic mindset—just small groups of five or ten people, everyone totally wasted or high—we aren't going to get anywhere in this day and age.

Kimberly Robinson17 said:I think I already answered this myself ☕

p.s. honestly, you see more injuries from taxi driver disputes than you do in the fan scene here in the States🤷

Could you tell me how many people usually jump into these clashes? Is there a set number, or is it just whatever they agree on with the other crew?
I guess I’m part of that newer generation too... born from 2000 onwards... we don't really get the chance to show any grit at the games anymore. It feels like everything just boils down to throwing things or ambushing one or two cars. But then again, I know plenty of guys who have gotten into scraps in their own neighborhoods or cities way more often than at a stadium—sometimes they win, sometimes they don't, but that's not really the point. I suppose I've come to the conclusion that either we aren't being given the chance to prove ourselves, or maybe we were just born in the wrong era. Nowadays, if you try to defend yourself, you end up with a broken nose and potentially facing jail time. I might be talking nonsense here, but I'm just trying to explain that it isn't a lack of guts; it's just that when a single fight can completely wreck your life, you start thinking twice about whether it's actually worth getting involved.
There is so much talk about "modern fans" wearing white sneakers or Fred Perry shirts and all that nonsense, but I don't think that's the core issue. It's more about what being a fan used to mean—saving up a little cash, maybe pinching something here and there, hustling for quick money, heading out on a three-day away trip, or even just scraping by together. You just can't do those things anymore because times have changed and the laws are different now... 🤷

Casey Gomez3 said:I honestly think that if it were just us, you, and the local news crews, we wouldn't stand a chance against the Atlantic Front. I don't really feel like getting into the specifics of why, because... well, I guess it's pretty obvious to anyone with half a brain.

Could you maybe elaborate on the how and the why behind that? Is it because they train harder, or because they’re always getting into scraps out in the fields, or do you actually think they're some kind of superhumans? I mean, I know what they're known for, but I find it hard to believe they're quite *that* formidable.
It's a bit off-topic, I know, but I'm curious about your take—do you think we'd get crushed simply because we lack enough K1 fighters, or is it more about a lack of grit?
