The steakhouse was absolutely insane all evening.
Honestly, I’m feeling a bit let down now.

No, ever since I installed this damn stupid Chrome, it’s been constant. It was never like this on Firefox—literally never. The only issue there is that lately, it’s just getting slower and slower, regardless of how much I try to optimize everything.

Carol Carter47 said:Great. Just came on here to see if my computer was dying. I searched for error 408 specifically. If this forum wasn't part of my daily routine, I would have given up by now. This keeps popping up. It is irritating.🙂

😉 Dammit, I was already planning on taking mine to the repair shop.😛
What the hell... the drive from 249 miles in one direction during this weather is absolute madness.
The doctor didn't even see me. Instead, I was stuck with some young physician, maybe twenty years old. The whole thing lasted barely five minutes. Dr. Poje was somewhere around here, attending to two of his own patients. This kid actually claimed that polyps don't require surgery—as if anyone else would suggest removing them, but he insists they should stay.
There you have it...
I am currently on my way 😁
I have an appointment tomorrow morning with Dr. Poje
All the best.
Get in touch when you're able.
Where and under which
Dr. Glusac
You’re the king, period. 😁
Yes, I went ahead and scheduled my appointment with Dr. Smith for January 29th.
I am going to try to find a way to see him even sooner if possible.
Thank you very much.

Are you kidding me?
I find myself questioning my own sanity every single time. Some days, I simply cannot deal with it anymore. I actually ended up calling my husband over just to confirm what I was seeing—hoping it wouldn't be a frequent occurrence, but there it is: dark blonde? Seriously?

Ashley Edwards91 said:Are you dealing with migraines, or is this just severe sinus pain? 😁 My headaches definitely subsided after surgery. A CT scan should technically provide better sinus visualization since it excels at imaging bone and cavities, whereas an MRI remains the gold standard for soft tissue. However, it is entirely possible that the issue wasn't the machine itself, but rather poor technique by the technician performing the CT. One thing is certain: an MRI will show everything without the unnecessary radiation exposure...

The pain is intense—sharp, stabbing sensations concentrated on the right side, specifically above the right brow. It happens daily, lasting several minutes at a time, and has persisted for a year now. It’s bad enough that I get nasal discharge; it isn't yellow or green, but sometimes it looks dark blue.
Because of these headaches, my doctor ordered an EEG, a CT, and a neurology referral, but the neurologist insisted on an MRI instead.
Additionally, my EEG results were abnormal, so my neurologist prescribed Topamax.

I went in for a CT scan, but since I saw a private neurologist regarding my migraines, she recommended an MRI as well.
Fortunately, because the CT came back completely clear. Everything looked normal?!! No deviations, no polyps.
Now, I find it hard to believe that nothing could have been caught on the CT...

Betty Edwards22 said:To address sinus issues and polyps, you absolutely have to clear out the mucous membrane and polypoid tissue to ensure proper sinus ventilation. At Mount Sinai, the specialists handling that area are Prof. Mladin, Dr. Poje, and Dr. Vukovic K.
Regarding your second question, it all depends on the scale of the initial procedure and the current reality where Medicare has significantly cut coverage for rhinoplasties.

Thanks for the response. I did some digging through previous threads and found that several women were satisfied with Dr. Poje, so I will be scheduling an appointment with him.
Greetings to everyone.

I am new to this discussion. I would appreciate any recommendations for a specialist at Mount Sinai. My primary care physician suggested this hospital, as my local provider in SI mentioned they wouldn't recommend having me poked around there.

Specifically, a recent head MRI revealed sinus polyps and a deviated septum. I am wondering if it is possible to address those issues while also refining the aesthetics of my nose. This has been a significant insecurity for me since childhood; while my nose isn't large, its shape is somewhat "boxy."

Thank you very much.
