what kind of drops were you guys using to help those crusts fall off?
I stopped by the pharmacy this morning, but the name just slipped my mind.🤔
Also, can they actually do any harm? I’m asking because all they gave me was saline solution for my nose. If those crusts don't come off before my follow-up appointment in a week, is the doctor just going to scrape them away? I really want to avoid that if possible.😳

I was prescribed 1% ephedrine drops. I used about 8 drops in each nostril daily for a few days—that was a total lifesaver. No extra cleaning required! Just keep in mind, though, those require a prescription. After that, I switched to rinsing with saline and using marshmallow tea... and those crusts were completely gone.😁

So, I’ve finally decided to say goodbye to my "big pride and joy." I'm going under the knife to get my nose fixed—mostly just shortening it and getting rid of that bump.

Since I don't exactly have the luxury of driving around town to vet every surgeon out there—time is money, after all—I want to get straight to the point. Who can I actually trust with my life? I'm looking for someone where the odds of coming out looking like a total wreck are actually low.

I'm based out of Washington, D.C.—budgeting for this surgery is going to be around... $6.00Look, if I'm going to be handing over that kind of cash, I want a nose that looks like Madonna's. Simple as that.

Look, can we please skip all that "follow your heart" nonsense? I’m not looking for some pageant advice about listening to my soul or "feeling out" a surgeon—we aren't picking a winner for Miss USA here. Just give it to me straight.

So, let's get down to brass tacks—who exactly is the right person for the job? If we're looking for someone who can actually deliver results, we need a specific name. $6.00

Hey there!

B.

Unknown — Malibu.
If you’re looking for a surgeon who actually knows his stuff—someone who can handle both the functional side and the aesthetics through closed techniques—he’s my top pick. I had my procedure with him about a month ago, and honestly, I couldn't be happier with the results. He can be a bit of a know-it-all at times—just a heads-up there—but the sheer volume of successful rhinoplasties he has under his belt speaks for itself. Before landing in his chair, I actually went to a private plastic surgeon in Washington, D.C., but looking back, I’m so glad I made the switch. Best decision ever.🙂🙂🙂
It’s been two weeks since my nose surgery with Dr. Glusac (both functional and cosmetic), and things are still feeling a bit numb—breathing isn't quite 100% yet either. But honestly? I’m thrilled with the new look. It turned out exactly how I envisioned it and just like how he described it during our consult. There's still some swelling to deal with—it'll probably take at least another week before I can say I'm feeling totally back to normal—but I'm already confident the result is perfect! Highly recommend Dr. Glusac!
Alright, it’s been a full 72 hours since the surgery and I can say I’m feeling okay. No real pain—just a massive amount of frustration because my nose is totally stuffed up—but I’m hoping the end result makes it all worth it. I’m getting the cast removed this Sunday, so then we’ll see the final look. I have some bruising around my eyes, but it’s already turning that yellowish color after just a few days. Lots of ice, chamomile compresses, and nerves of steel—I’ll get through this!🙂🙂

My guess? Around $10k... maybe up to $15k if you're looking at both function and aesthetics.

I’m heading in for my surgery with him tonight! I actually went to see Dr. Toncic first for a consultation, then followed up with Dr. Glusac—and in the end, I decided to go with the second option.
I should have some fresh updates for you tomorrow, so I'll be able to give you the full scoop. Basically, the doctor is great—he doesn't charge for consultations (which can run an hour or even ninety minutes), whereas with Toncic, I paid just to be out the door in ten minutes. Plus, Dr. Glusac focuses on how the nose actually functions before worrying about the looks, so to me, that 2-in-1 approach is a much better deal. 🙂
Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that I'm heading in for nose surgery tonight at 8 PM (doing both functional and cosmetic stuff)!😲😲 , down in Miami.
I'll follow up later to share how everything went—I figured some of you might be interested! Fingers crossed for me 🙂 🙂

So, I’m feeling a little self-conscious about my nose lately. We all know how it goes—whenever we're having a bad day, we tend to hyper-focus on our flaws. For me, when those days hit, I always end up feeling frustrated with my nose.😁
Everyone keeps telling me that I definitely don't need the surgery—honestly, they're probably right. My face shape is somewhere between oval and oblong, but since my head is on the smaller side, people are worried about the results. They say if I go through with it, I'll end up looking like a Pekingese.🤣
At school, I dealt with a few comments about my nose—but honestly, I can't tell if people were actually picking on it, or if they just did because I let it slip that it's a bit of a weak spot for me. 😢

I’m going to need a huge favor from you guys! I’m planning to post some photos of my nose—please, give me your honest, unfiltered thoughts. I know I can count on total transparency here since we all know that, for most of us, the nose is usually one of those little "weak spots" when it comes to facial features.
Thanks!

P.S. Sorry I don't have any better photos to share.😢

Honestly, you look totally fine to me. I don't see any reason at all to go through with an operation or deal with the whole recovery process—not really. 🙂
