It feels totally shady. You already paid for the $5500 surgery plus the $250 pre-op exam, yet they still demand cash for follow-ups that any decent medical center would include in the initial price. Their excuse? They claim the surgeon who actually did the work isn't available, so some other doctor has to see you, and that costs extra. Everything looks great until you hand over the money for the surgery; once they have your cash, suddenly you're a nuisance and just another mark for them to fleece.
Seriously, if you have any other options, steer clear of this rip-off clinic.
