I downloaded everything directly from the official Mozilla site, and I did the same with Chrome. I even tried migrating his Mozilla folder from my own computer over to his, which got it running—but it’s painfully slow. It’s practically unusable. I attempted a clean reinstall of Windows, but there's a major issue: when the prompt says "press any key to boot...", the whole system freezes. The only thing that stays responsive is the underscore cursor, and then it just hangs there indefinitely. Other DVDs and CDs seem to boot up without any problems at all.
Hello, A friend of mine is dealing with some serious internet issues. A few days ago—for reasons known only to him—he deleted Mozilla. Now he’s trying to download it using Internet Explorer, but every time he runs the installer, he gets some error about "branding" or something similar, and then it just enters an endless loop. I tried transferring Mozilla and Chrome over to him manually, but the download simply won't trigger—though I still haven't quite grasped what exactly the installer is looking for. He can't even run game updates or anything else, yet strangely enough, he can browse via Internet Explorer and use Skype without any trouble. He asked me to post this here to see if anyone has a clue. Thanks in advance.
If you’re shutting things down via the physical button on the front—and yes, I’ve seen people do that—you can actually go into the cPanel settings to dictate exactly what happens when that button is pressed. 😁
From what I understand, you can't actually change the system language on Home Premium🙂—that functionality is reserved strictly for the Ultimate edition

The boot menu only shows what I listed above along with a help option on the side—but there is that "excluded from boot" Legacy entry I mentioned in my first post. As for Secure Boot, it isn't even an option here.
Andrew Fowler49 said:You access the BIOS using Del, F1-F12, or Esc—whatever your specific system prompts you with during startup. Once inside, you can select which devices should appear in your boot menu. It is highly probable that your USB device is currently disabled. Only after you enable it will it show up as an option when you restart the computer. Good luck.
I am already aware of that—it simply isn't appearing in the menu. Regardless, thanks.
Greetings, I created a bootable USB drive today using Adobe Flash containing Windows 7. I am fully aware that I need to set this USB as the primary boot option within the BIOS settings. However, when I restart my machine with the USB plugged in and access the boot menu, this is what I see:
1. SATA 0 CD/DVD....... 2. SATA 1 HDD....... 3. PCI DEVICE......... 4. 5. 6. Excluded from boot: -Legacy device.... -some bootable cards
The point is—there is no removable device listed, nor is there any sign of the USB. My BIOS is Dell // Phoenix Technologies Ltd. 6.00 R1.12.2584.A1 running on a Dell OptiPlex motherboard. If anyone can provide assistance, I would be grateful.

There’s plenty of other things it could be... pick your poison. 🙂
It isn't the torrent; my upload speed is sitting at 1.5Mbps. And what do you mean by firewall—how would that even affect this? If you think the issue is the upload speed, I already mentioned that I’ve uploaded 200MB clips in about 20 minutes at this exact same rate.
Greetings, everyone. A few months back, I was uploading clips around the 20-minute mark to YouTube without any issues at all. However, a couple of days ago, I attempted to upload a mere three-minute video—only to be met with a processing estimate exceeding 20,000 minutes—which is effectively 🙂 forever. Does anyone have insight into what might be causing this? I stumbled upon some information suggesting an antivirus conflict might be the culprit—I am currently running Norton Internet Security—but the solutions I found seemed specifically tailored to McAfee.

Since I recently sold my main rig, I’ve been forced to rely on an old backup machine for the time being. The motherboard is a Dell OptiPlex, featuring an Intel Core i7, 2GB of RAM. It comes equipped with integrated Intel Q67 graphics. I attempted to install a Radeon NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 after configuring the BIOS to PCIe and stripping out the integrated drivers. However, upon booting, the fans spin up, but the monitor remains stuck on a black screen—accompanied by a series of beep codes (4-2-3-3, which indicates an extended block move error). If I plug the monitor back into the integrated graphics, everything functions perfectly fine. My power supply is rated at 500W, so I highly doubt that's the culprit—especially since this card worked flawlessly in my previous build. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks in advance. 😠

That’s usually where the issue lies. If that doesn't fix it, then Port 80 might be blocked. It isn't particularly likely given the details provided, but it remains a possibility.
They have already tried Google Chrome, Microsoft, and Apple—all with the same failing results. I did stumble upon some mention of it being a DNS address issue, though I haven't found a clear explanation for it yet. 🤣
A friend of mine has two computers connected to the same router. One machine works perfectly fine, but on the second one, apps like Zoom, uTorrent, and Call of Duty function normally, yet he can't load a single webpage. He already had his ISP reset the router, but that didn't change a thing.
P.S. I explained this exact issue in another thread, but since I didn't get any responses, I decided to start a new one. 🙂
