Hey wanderingjackal, I finally got the tampon out myself. Honestly, what an uncomfortable sensation. Right now, I’m looking a bit like a rabbit; I'm really hoping it’s just the pressure from the mold and the tape pulling everything upward, and that things will settle down once I take it all off. Hopefully, the swelling goes down soon, because I would truly hate to be stuck looking like a rabbit. Is yours feeling just as tight toward God?

I’m heading in tomorrow to have the tampons removed—honestly, they’re driving me crazy. Part of me just wants to rip them out myself... How is the removal process? How long does it take, and was it painful for you? Also, what’s your take on the nasal device so far?
Hey, I was wondering—what kind of dressings are you using, how exactly are you applying them, and how often do you have to change them?
Hey wanderingjackal, I finally had my surgery this morning. I’m swollen like a total bumblebee right now—not quite turning blue yet, but I have a feeling that might happen by tomorrow. It’s also pretty uncomfortable when I try to swallow; it feels like everything is just shifting around in there. Have you been taking anything for the pain, or were you okay without it? My sinuses feel incredibly weird, too—it’s like they’re constantly plugging and unplugging, almost as if something is moving around inside my face...
Hey there, how were your first and second days feeling? I’m wondering if you were actually able to get up the next morning and sit down to watch some TV, or if you spent the entire time just lying in bed. Also, can you manage to sit up while eating, or is everything strictly done while lying down?
Only 3 days left... 🙂
Does anyone happen to know who handles the final paperwork with Dr. Glumičić regarding the deadline for test results? I’m cutting it incredibly close with my schedule—my surgery is this Friday, but my labs won't be ready until Thursday. Is it actually feasible to bring them in on the morning of the procedure? Also, will I have any window of time before the operation to sit down with him one more time to consult and finalize exactly which procedures I want to move forward with and which I'd rather skip? If anyone has some practical advice or even just a bit of encouragement, I’d appreciate it; I’m starting to feel the pre-op nerves kicking in as Friday approaches.😱

Newer shots

In my opinion, this was an excellently executed job.

I find myself agreeing with you. Even though I suspect some people here will jump in to claim her nose is a disaster, I actually think it looks lovely. If only I could pull off something similar... honestly, I haven't seen a single photo of Glumicic's nose that I would ever consider a catastrophe.
You ladies have really helped lift my spirits with this talk about Glumicic. I’m actually heading out in exactly ten days, and I’m just hoping I can finalize all the details exactly how I want them before the surgery. Fingers crossed for me!
Sunfloower, have you happened to come across anyone else who’s undergone a similar procedure? To be honest, this idea of a cartilage graft sounds a bit suspicious to me; I can't help but worry that there might be some kind of irregular tissue growth at that junction or something along those lines... though I must admit, Zambelli's suggestion felt quite plausible at the time! Would you be open to sharing a photo of your nasal structure? If you do, I'll send mine over as well, so we can compare them and see if we're dealing with the exact same issue. Perhaps then we could try to figure out the best way forward together.
Hey everyone... I wanted to pick your brains about something specific. Has anyone here had surgery to address their nasal sidewalls? I know that when people get a rhinoplasty to reduce the nose, the sidewalls usually change as a byproduct, but my anatomy is a bit of an outlier. It feels like I’m missing that lateral cartilage on the sides, which makes my septum look disproportionately long in the center. The issue isn't actually the septum itself, but rather that lack of structural support on the sides—it makes my whole nose look oversized, with those long, noticeable sidewalls. I’m curious if anyone else has dealt with a similar structural issue. I’ve already consulted with Dr. Žgaljardić, and his suggestion was to shorten the septum and reduce the overall size of the nose. My concern there is that I might end up looking a bit pig-like if we go that route. On the other hand, Dr. Zambelli suggested he could augment the side cartilage by harvesting it from the septum, which honestly sounds almost too good to be true. I’m planning to head to see Dr. Glumičić next to see what his take is on the situation!

My nose actually looks quite similar to how it used to, and honestly, they didn't even seem to notice anything was wrong with it before.
As for my eyes—it was just a minor tweak; they were expecting some massive Hollywood transformation.
And now they're just making fun of me. 😍

Hey, how much did you end up paying for the eye procedure, and which clinic did you go to?
Jeremy Barrett7 said:Hi everyone,

I have a nose surgery scheduled for mid-June with Glumičić & Džepina, and I need to get my bloodwork done and an EKG. Has anyone here handled these tests privately at a local clinic? If so, what kind of pricing should I expect?

Hey, just curious—what made you choose Džepina over Glumicic? I’m actually planning to go through them as well, but I was leaning toward Glumicic. I wonder if there's much difference in the outcome since they work together?
Rebecca Gomez37 said:The most beautiful nose ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually saw him do it, just laughing my head off😉))
And there you have it—proof that when Glumicic is told you want a classic, pretty female nose rather than some overdone, narrow, pig-like shape, he delivers perfection.

As for me... I was looking for a photo too...😢😢

I just finished my consultation with Dr. Glumičić and now I just need to pick a date and let them know... ugh, I'm definitely feeling some nerves about it, but we're all in this together! To anyone else heading in for surgery soon, I'm wishing you a speedy recovery and a result that looks exactly how you envisioned it. 👍 If anyone else happens to be seeing Dr. Glumičić in the near future, please reach out—let's chat... 😉

Hey, I'm actually planning on seeing Dr. Glumičić too. Could you tell me how much the procedure ended up costing you, and do they offer any financing or payment plans through American Express?
Sophia Hill22, you're quick! That nose of yours looks fantastic, though I can tell there's still a bit of swelling there... thanks for sharing the photos.👍
Sophia Hill22, would it be possible for me to get those photos as well?

I actually went in for a consultation with him recently. The process is pretty straightforward: first, he takes photos of you, loads them onto his computer, and then you discuss the changes you want. He uses software to simulate the results, and once you land on a look you actually like, that's the plan. To be honest, though, the simulation felt a bit too simplistic to me; surgery isn't quite as easy as clicking through a computer program. It turned out that everything I wanted—anything he could show me on that screen—was technically doable during the actual procedure. Part of me wondered if he just creates a perfect digital image to entice patients into booking, only to perform whatever is realistically possible once they're under the knife. The consultations themselves were $83. As for the before-and-after photos on his website? In my opinion, they’re a total disaster. I don't know if they're just outdated, but surely it wouldn't take more than thirty minutes to upload some recent work instead of using those old shots to promote his practice. I'm not trying to be overly harsh here since I haven't had the actual surgery, but the consultation alone didn't exactly wow me. If I heard some positive recent testimonials, I might reconsider, but right now, I'm leaning toward scheduling consultations with Tončić and Glumičić instead. A procedure with Zambelli runs about $2,400; I'd need a septoplasty as well, though I suspect his pricing remains fixed regardless.
Does anyone happen to know if it's possible to pay in installments at Glumicic's office? If so, how does that work, what's the maximum number of installments allowed, and which credit cards do they accept? Also, if anyone knows the cost for a consultation, I'd appreciate the info.
jadedriver0 said:Honestly, they made it way too narrow and short for her—kind of like Michael Jackson...😢 👎But hey, if she likes it, that's what matters most. Our opinions aren't the priority here.👍If you’re looking to fix it, dear, I could potentially help using some ear cartilage, but I don't know any other options.🤷

Reading through all your comments, I'm starting to think it really might be too small... maybe if I saw it from a profile view, I'd realize just how tiny it is. Personally, I don't even like having much cartilage on my nose, but mine is a bit problematic—the nasal bones are quite large. I'm worried the only way to actually close those gaps would be to reduce the entire nose. It doesn't even look that big to me as it is, so I suppose I'm subconsciously pushing myself toward wanting a tiny nose. I don't even know anymore... I would be incredibly grateful if anyone who has seen Glumicic could send me some before-and-after photos!

And just to be clear... no, I absolutely do not want to go through fifty different surgeries. That sounds like an absolute nightmare, and frankly, I can barely afford this one!
If anyone is curious about what my stubborn nasal bones look like and happens to have a smart suggestion, I'll post some pictures!
