You’re absolutely right, and I completely get where you're coming from. I really hope you find that same sense of satisfaction too. I did ask my friend if he had any before-and-after photos, but unfortunately, he doesn't have any left; he told me he deleted them all just so he wouldn't have to be reminded of that miserable, childish argument from back then. 🙂
That said, he can't recommend the doctor highly enough; he insists his entire experience was incredibly positive.👍

Hey everyone, I'm pretty much the new kid on the block here... and honestly, I'm dealing with the exact same surgery dilemma as all of you 🤣 since I'm an athlete, which is kind of obvious from my handle, I guess... I've been reading through a ton of comments about Dr. Glusac—some pretty brutal, some actually positive... first off, I saw one girl absolutely tearing him apart, which honestly felt totally unfair. She claimed he doesn't even touch the tip of the nose, but that’s just not true from what I’ve gathered. Personally, Dr. Glusac told me he would completely correct everything on my nose. Who knows what her expectations were? Even the doctor himself mentioned he has no intention of performing those tiny, overly reductive procedures that certain other surgeons do, leaving patients unable to breathe later on... Unfortunately, I haven't met him in person yet, but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by his professionalism. When I emailed him, he gave me such an extensive, detailed response; he really took the time to address my specific issue. And when I followed up with more questions, he answered every single one. I mean, can you imagine how anyone else would react? They’d probably just say, "Just come in for a consultation," refuse to give me any actual info over email, and then charge me a fortune...
So, the guy has definitely earned some trust from me. At the end of the day, you have to believe your doctor and just "hope for the best." It's true that, sadly, I haven't had the chance to see his work in person. A few girls sent me some photos, but they aren't exactly high-definition... Since I have such a long drive ahead of me to get to Miami, I'm just terrified that once I finally arrive and see the actual results, I'll be disappointed hahahah... but I have to stay optimistic... I'm just hoping the doctor realizes exactly what I'm looking for and manages to work some "magic" on this pig nose of mine. 🤣

He’s the type who thinks you shouldn't mess with something that isn't broken, and since I didn't ask him to intervene there, he didn't. When he asked what my goals were, I was super blunt—I told him I just wanted to be able to breathe properly and wanted a straight profile looking from the front. That is exactly what I got. The guy delivered everything we discussed and agreed upon.
So, here’s my unsolicited advice for anyone currently prepping for surgery: hammer out every single tiny detail about your nose and everything you want changed. I made the mistake of assuming that since I was going under the knife, he’d just "know" how to fix everything, but that’s not how it works. The doctor does exactly what you tell him to do, and I see so many people say very little but expect a total transformation. I think that's why there are so many unhappy patients out there.
Also, don't get me wrong—I'm not complaining at all. I actually love my nose just the way it is now 😍

My expectations were realistic, actually. I agreed to exactly what the surgeon told me he would do, but the nose ended up taking on a different shape later on... ☕

Bump. Does anyone here have any experience dealing with a piggishly upturned nose tip following surgery, an impact, or a bad bruise?

Dr. Uglešić. I’m really hoping everything turns out okay so I can finally stop obsessing over this. Honestly, my nose doesn't look half bad after everything—it just needs some "minor touch-ups." I’m praying they actually stay minor, because I am so mentally exhausted from overthinking this that I’ve been putting it off for two years now. They’ll be using grafts since I have two indentations, but I just hope I don't end up with the exact same issues that drove me to the first surgery in the first place.😁
