amberbadger81 said:Well, I think I might just head over to Glušac's place this summer to have a real chat, and maybe I'll bring along one of those simulations just to see how he reacts to it.

Yeah, you should totally bring that simulation, because I honestly think he'd just die laughing! 🙏

I mean, Glušac is super against those kinds of simulations, and he really feels like they're basically just highway robbery for patients. Personally, I kind of agree with him, since you end up paying $100 for absolutely nothing at all. 😁
stormyharbor2 said:I honestly feel like he or someone close to him is lurking in this thread, so I really don't feel like getting into it. I’m not telling anyone anything, yet somehow everyone seems to know because they just watch what gets posted here, including things that have nothing to do with my nose or the surgery itself. It’s just so frustrating, honestly. If I say it here, then there's no point in saying it to him in person, and I'd much rather just talk to him directly.

I only showed my photos to two people, and one was actually a patient of his right after me, so I guess I trust her just enough... If you guys are really that curious, maybe you could go check out the photos at the Mayo Clinic, though those were taken just a few days after the procedure and my nose looks quite different now.

I'm so sorry, but I get at least a few private messages every single day about my nose, so I'm not sure if I missed your specific question—please just ask again! 🤷

Man, your pictures sound painful. Honestly, what you wrote feels kind of funny to me... I guess he might read this tomorrow. 🤣

I think you're totally missing the point here. There's such a thing as being polite, you know? Since I went out of my way to be helpful and send photos of my face upon request, I'd expect at least a decent response to a question.

But whatever, it doesn't matter.

And wasn't stormyharbor2 the one telling all the girls that a small nose doesn't suit everyone and wouldn't look good on her face?? And now suddenly a small nose is the goal? Well, okay, not my problem, I'm just observing.

Edit—Kate Taylor59, your inbox is absolutely flooded, so I can't get to your question right now.
Sophia Hill22 said:stormyharbor2, if I were in your shoes, I might actually try to file a formal complaint or request a repair from Dr. Glusac—though maybe you should probably just wait about six months to a year before bringing it up to him 😉

Is stormyharbor2's new nose some kind of phantom limb?? Honestly, I'm not even sure if anyone has actually seen it yet. Does it even exist? Did she even go through with the surgery? What could possibly be going on?
There are just so many questions swirling around regarding stormyharbor2's nose; it’s becoming quite the little mystery, I guess.😁

On another note, stormyharbor2, I really, truly hope you're happy with the results, or at least that you will be soon! I honestly can't tell if you are or aren't, since I can only speculate—you see, you sent me a private message asking for advice, and after I went ahead and politely sent over those photos and explained everything, you sort of... well, you "politely" ignored me.
jadedriver0 said:I totally agree—I absolutely can't stand being lectured, and honestly, I just don't have the patience for it! I mean, seriously, you can tell it's just some blatant, obnoxious advertising from a mile away.🙄

Maybe some people just aren't particularly great at writing posts on the Forum, you know? I guess they just want to describe their own experiences and share how happy they are within a thread that was actually made for those exact purposes! I mean, why would anyone bother trying to advertise themselves on a Forum when they could just perform some celebrity stunt on a red carpet and have the whole world know who they are anyway?

I actually went to see Dr. Smith about two years ago to get my deviated septum fixed, and honestly, I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! It was such a great experience, and I really mean it when I say there’s absolutely zero fake advertising involved—just genuine, amazing results.🙄

If anyone is interested, I could probably send over some photos via private message, and then I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you might have!

Anyway, Jasmin, I have to say—your nose looks absolutely wonderful now! It’s just so lovely, like a perfectly shaped, classic masculine nose, I guess. 🙏
wearyotter112 said:I guess Zambelli actually specialized in general surgery, and since you can't really find specific aesthetic surgery residencies at the medical schools here in the States, most doctors end up picking up their expertise while working in various hospitals. But honestly, what I’m trying to say is—if you're looking to get a beautiful nose, Zambelli can definitely make that happen for you! Even though he isn't an ENT specialist, I truly believe he’s gained a ton of experience in that area too. It feels like a huge relief compared to those ENT specialists who try to jump into aesthetic surgery and end up totally ruining people's noses and faces, just like what happened to me... 😢

From what I’ve gathered, it seems like aesthetic surgery isn't really its own standalone specialty. If I had to choose, I think I would always go to an ENT specialist for an aesthetic rhinoplasty, mostly because that’s the only way to ensure the procedure actually improves how you breathe too. It doesn't seem like much of a challenge to just use silicone fillers or fat grafting, but working on a nose requires so much more precision. Because of that, I don't think I would ever consider having my nose done by a plastic surgeon who isn't also an ENT.

I was just looking at that nose job someone had done—you know, the one Glumicic did—and honestly, I think it’s a total disaster. It looks way too narrow and pinched, and it's been lifted so much that it just feels unnatural. Plus, if you look at the whole face, it doesn't fit the facial features at all; it just seems completely out of proportion.
I mean, I honestly have my doubts about whether you could even breathe normally through a nose like that, you know? I guess it’s just a thought, but isn't that the exact same nose shape Blanki Vlasic had? And if you ask me, her look was a total disaster.
rustygardener172 said:I mean, it’s pretty much implied she was talking about a plastic surgeon... since we were all discussing nose surgery with Dr. Zambelli, and he is indeed a plastic surgeon...

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant!
Kate Taylor59 said:Well, I guess Dr. Glusac can say whatever he wants about using the absolute best techniques and all that, and honestly, others can too... but personally, I’m really leaning towards Zambelli. I mean, I've heard such wonderful things about him, and I just absolutely love the results he gets with noses! 😉
Even Severina, who had her nose issues for the third time, decided to go with him specifically.

Wait, is Zambelli actually an ENT?
He isn't. And if you ask me, anyone acting totally normal should probably take them out of the running for nose surgery altogether.

Personally, I don't think I would ever even consider having nose surgery with a doctor who isn't an ENT. To me, that feels a bit like asking a cardiologist to operate on your leg, you know? 😁
