Dr. Tončić told me I have some weird cartilage situation and he had to give himself an out right before the surgery because he couldn't guarantee it would actually work. He said he’d do his absolute best, but I should really think twice about handing over $4333 just for a potential bust. Even the aesthetic specialist told him not to touch it since it looks fine and the surgery is hard enough as it is without adding extra stress.
Since this was my second surgery, a simple "maybe" just didn't cut it for me.
Still... you gotta respect the honesty... it's actually what made me stick with him...
...but then I met Glusac 😁. He basically told me my nose surgery would be a walk in the park for him. Hahahaha, what a character! He even suggested doing a little aesthetic touch-up while I was already under the knife. He might be a bit full of himself, but honestly, that was exactly what I needed to hear at the time... and look at me now... rocking the "work of art by Glusac" on my face 👏
He even joked that if I ever decided to go to him for 🙂, he’d do my lip filler for free 🤣🤣. I wouldn't do 🙂 right now, obviously, but hey, it's good to know... you never know 😉 😁
Let me hop offline for a sec to tell you 🙂. If Glusac is the king of noses, then Zambelli is the king of everything else—lashes, you name it. It’s pretty much common knowledge.
rustygardener172, he’s seriously full of himself. When I was scrolling through his page and saw him calling himself the "King of Noses," I was just like, wow, how charming. :-) Either way, I’ve done my homework and studied all of them inside out. Regarding noses, I've landed on the fact that Glusac and Klapan are actually top-tier. Their one thing in common is that they’re both incredibly cocky, but they definitely know their stuff. The difference is that Klapan plays this whole mysterious act—he won't even give you a ballpark price, acting all shady and beating around the bush. With Glusac, it’s straightforward, so you can take it or leave it.

When I asked the nurse where the older one was, she just said he was on vacation. She explained they rotate shifts... so you basically just get whoever is on duty for consultations. But hey, you can always request the senior doctor if you want. When I asked who would actually perform the surgery, she told me they do it together, since the younger guy isn't operating solo yet. Either way, you hash out all the details with both of them before the big day.
Someone else mentioned recently that the younger one operated on them solo and did an amazing job. Guess he’s finally cut his teeth and started flying solo.
Whatever... they can promise you the moon and stars... once you're knocked out, you have zero clue who's actually cutting into you. That's just reality. Who knows... maybe Severina was the one operating on me while I was out... honestly, I don't care as long as the surgery is a success. 😁
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 rustygardener172, you aren't just some regular person, you're queen !!!
So what was the actual reason you picked Glusca over Toncic?

Is it seriously possible that nobody here has ever been to him? 🙂
Did anyone else see Dr. Klapan for their OP? I'm trying to get an idea of what the damage is going to be.
wearybear18 said:Okay, I’ve been reading and reading... honestly, hearing people praise Dr. Toncic makes me feel a bit better. I've decided to go see him—I just need to book a consultation. I'm actually freaking out a little! I seriously don't have the cash to go running around seeing every single surgeon for a consult, and I definitely don't have the time. Where can I find those photos you guys are talking about?
Just ask the girls who’ve already seen him to send you some pics. 😉
la Diosa, I’m honestly losing it over how good this looks... your technique is seriously a perfect 10!!!! Out of all the pics I’ve scrolled through on this forum, this is hands down the best work yet. I’m not on here all the time, so I can't remember if you mentioned something about that famous little bump or nub or whatever you call it? Did that show up for you too before it disappeared 🙂...Anyway, major props to Dr. Toncic 🙂
Kate Taylor59, did you actually make it to those consultations? How’d it go? Was that your first time going in?

Basically, my guy is a heavy snorer. Even though he has a deviated septum, several top-tier specialists refused to operate on his septum because they claimed it wouldn't fix the snoring or the sleep apnea. They sent him to see Dr. Krmoptić at the Sleep Disorders Center in Chicago. He had to wear a device to record his breathing while he slept, and it caught tons of apnea episodes and snoring. Now he’s just waiting on a date for surgery—specifically, using a laser to work on his soft palate and mucosa. Apparently, it's a super complicated procedure, and there are only a handful of doctors in the US who actually do it well...
That’s supposedly the only way to help with snoring and apnea, and even then, it might not be a total fix. The septum doesn't have anything to do with it... at least according to the doctors...
Hope this helps.
Thanks for the heads up. Please, once he finally gets his surgery date, let me know how it goes—like if it was painful or whatever. Hvalaaaaa🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Quick question for anyone who dealt with function issues. Did things actually start working right after surgery, or did nothing change? Also, were you dealing with snoring and sleep apnea before the procedure? ☕
I’ve spent months scrolling through every single page here and scouring the web, and I finally tracked down some of Dr. Glusac's papers. For everyone asking—I still haven't decided which surgeon I'm going to trust with my nose, but here we go! 😉 http://www.estetska-kirurgija.info/f...=glusac-branko
