Honestly, everyone, if I may speak for the group, you all have truly let us down. I suspect many of you are supporters of Cibalia—likely a club that attracts very few haters, or at least people who find reason to complain about every little thing. In my own life, I’ve encountered countless fans from various teams, and quite often, they place Cibalia on the same high pedestal as their own beloved clubs. That kind of respect is a rare luxury in an era where everything feels tainted, where standards have slipped, and where integrity is frequently traded away until it reaches a point of sheer discomfort.
Just try it. Please, try everything within your power to get Cibalia back on its feet and firmly planted in the top flight. It is certainly much easier for me to say these things here than it is for you to actually execute them on the ground. But whatever you do, do not give up. Perhaps in the near future, better days will come for both the club and the city of Vinkovci; perhaps conditions will finally align so that Cibalia can occupy the place it absolutely deserves to be.

I'll just say that I didn't miss a single home game from 1986 until 2013 (except for that one year in the early 90s when we couldn't play locally due to the unrest...); after that, just like so many other folks from the area, I ended up moving away from the States. There's a whole new generation in the stands now that I probably don't even recognize, so I don't have much firsthand info to share, unfortunately. 😢
All I can say is that the one thing I truly miss living here in Austria is the club... just that, and honestly, nothing else.
Let me see if I can explain this clearly so you guys get what happened. So, I have this power strip plugged directly into the wall, and it’s powering my internet router, my monitor, and my desktop computer. Then, I have a second power strip plugged right into that first one, which is where my PS5 and other gear are connected. The whole thing went sideways when I was shutting down my computer. I reached over and flipped the switch on the second power strip—just trying to turn on the PS5—and the very second I did that, the circuit breaker in my house tripped. I flipped the breaker back on, but then I spent the next hour desperately trying to get my PC to boot up again. Now, look, I’m not some total newbie who doesn't know his way around a computer or how hardware works, but I even opened up the case to double-check all the connections and gave everything a good vacuuming to clear out any dust... but nothing worked. I couldn't get it running at all until this morning. To be honest, I paid quite a bit for that specific power strip, probably around $50 or $55, because I really wanted a high-quality setup. Though, looking back, I noticed about two months ago that the switch on it was acting super funky. For instance, when I left for my summer vacation, I tried to turn it off, but the switch wouldn't stay down—it would just pop right back up like it was stuck. Then, as soon as I got back from my trip, it suddenly started working normally again. But honestly, it feels like there's a serious defect with that switch, so I'm just not going to touch the power button on it anymore; I'll just leave it alone.
I actually pulled the plug on it and let it sit completely disconnected from both the PC and the wall outlet for over half an hour. That’s why I’m still scratching my head about how it suddenly decided to spring back to life this morning like nothing happened. It looks like it's packing a beefier processor and the graphics card seems a bit more powerful too.. The only catch is that I'd probably need to shell out some extra cash to add another 16GB of RAM later on.

I’m working in Premiere Pro, and I’ve reached the point where I seriously need a new rig. My current setup just can't handle 4K footage without making me wait for hours on end, and honestly, wasting all that time just sitting around waiting for progress bars is driving me crazy. That said, I’m really hesitant to drop a massive amount of cash on a high-end GPU, especially since I don't actually play PC games—I pretty much stick to my PS5 for all my gaming.
Does having a beefy graphics card in Premiere Pro only help speed up the final render, or does it actually make a difference with things like playback smoothness while I'm editing? Because if it's strictly about the rendering stage, maybe I don't need to go overboard, since I figure a powerful enough processor could probably handle most of the heavy lifting at a decent pace.

I actually stopped by the store yesterday to check it out in person, and I ended up hooking my phone up to it just to scroll through YouTube and see how it handled everything. Basically, I’m looking for a solid display for video editing, watching stuff on YouTube, movies, series, all sorts of videos and photos... I'm barely doing any gaming, maybe just a little bit here and there. Most of the reviews I've seen on YouTube seem really, really positive.
So, I went ahead and bought it... now I just need to build a new PC.
