Joshua Garcia8 said:Look, since you're new here, please just go read the intro post for this thread and check out the sub-forum rules. If you had actually done that, you wouldn't have just dropped a list of matchups without saying a single word about them. There are actual reasons why someone picks certain games—it's not just random nonsense.

edit:
I just realized the other guy was asking you why those specific picks 👍
So I'm asking you now 👍

🙂 Yeah, my bad, truth be told I didn't read it. As soon as I saw everyone arguing about basketball, I got sucked right into the last page! I was being way too hasty 😢 so let me apologize through this post, I know exactly where I messed up 🙂 thanks for the heads-up, man!

I don't really follow the NBA that closely, so why should I care?...

🙂

I mean, what do I know? Minnesota is basically half-strength right now, and Walker is probably going to be the best player on the court, so I feel like they should go over that line. Everyone seems to be riding with Harden, but honestly, he needs to shoot better; I think 23 points is way too low for him, especially leading a squad against New Orleans. New Orleans is solid, but I still think Harden is going to have to carry the load. Dragic was absolutely killing it last game against Denver—and Lawson, who I don't even know, but whatever—anyway, I think he's on the rise and will likely be the standout player against Chicago, especially since he's lethal from the free-throw line. The Clippers and Miami always scrap and things get physical, so I don't think there'll be that many points, specifically from the visitors. At least that's what history shows, or at least what I remember seeing. Plus, Miami hasn't looked great lately, especially against the top-tier teams. For the Oklahoma vs Memphis game, let's go under 100.5. What can I tell you? Memphis is one of the best defensive units in the league, and OKC is struggling big time with their shooting because Westbrook just isn't hitting anything and is burning through possessions... so yeah... who knows. A small stake isn't a bad idea. We'll see; there's still time to decide which one might blow up in my face...

Alright, I put together some analysis for my parlay and figured I'd share it here to see what you guys think. Let me know if I'm missing anything obvious or if anyone has some smart insights to add. Basically, I'm looking atWalker 17.5 +, Harden 22.5 +, Dragic 15.5 +, Miami 98.5 -, and Oklahoma 100.5 -. You probably all know who's playing where, so I won't waste your time with useless details. 🙂

Man, watching that Denver game, Lawson just isn't worth the money they handed him. Dragic basically took everything from him during those clutch moments. You probably played the over on Lawson, hoping he'd actually hit a shot... better than handing it over to someone else, haha! :P
