Does anyone happen to know how long you should wait before getting a facial cleansing treatment?😁

As for diving, saltwater is actually great for recovery.
That said... your doctor will give you much better advice than I can. It’s common knowledge that different specialists often have differing opinions. 😁
Who are you seeing? Sry if you already mentioned that...
Anyway, good luck with the surgery!! 👍

and anyone have experience with Dr. Miller's practice?

I actually had no idea I had a deviated septum myself. I just kept waking up every morning with this incredibly dry mouth, eventually realizing I wasn't breathing through my nose at all during the night—just through my mouth. To make matters worse, my husband mentioned I'd started snoring, which was a totally new development for me. 😁
Sneezing fits were constant, especially when moving from a warm room into the cold, and my nose would constantly clog up. Usually, it would be one nostril, then the other, and so on. Eventually, I went to see my doctor to get a referral to an ENT. As soon as he sat me down and checked my nose with that little light device—it doesn't hurt, they just peer inside—he told me right away that I had a deviation. He sent me for some imaging of my nose and sinuses to get a better look; apparently, you can see the real extent of the issue much more clearly on X-rays or scans. Once we saw the results, I quickly scheduled a session with him for the cosmetic side of things, and within a month, I was already in surgery. 😉

Carol Diaz31 said:Well, you look like a little piglet. 😂 It’s honestly pretty bizarre—my nose is completely swollen, especially on one side, and my face is following suit—but the sweetness is just overwhelming. 🙂
It’s a little smaller than I anticipated—honestly, a bit more modest than I expected—but I'm certainly not complaining.
I honestly don't think I can even begin to make an impression with this look—between the swelling, the breakouts from the bandages, my hair being a mess, and eyes that are bloodshot... it's a bit much. 🤣

My doctor is pleased with the progress—though he noted the tip of my nose is still a little swollen. He mentioned the bone structure itself is still settling, which should eventually slim the nose down further. My nasal conchae are also still quite inflamed—one side more than the other—so I need to keep up with saline rinses every morning through the summer. Once things settle, I'll be back to plenty of scuba diving. 😁
