Ugh, you really have to pull all those numbers together first... we aren't exactly talking about pocket change here.🤷
Laura Castillo7 said:There, I posted that on the forum ages ago, right after the OP

That's great, 😁David Phillips2👍.

What kind of prices are we looking at over at the Glumicic clinic?

Hey everyone, I had my nose surgery today with Dr. Toncic. I have a few questions, even though I've already spent quite a bit of time digging through various threads on this forum while getting ready for the procedure.😁
So, even with this mold on, I still feel like my nose isn't short enough. I realize everything needs to settle significantly more, but purely from a theoretical standpoint—does the nose only flatten in width, or does it lose length too? Like, does it actually get shorter over time following the surgery?
I hope you all catch my drift, haha.

How many days did it take before you could finally ditch the tampons? And honestly, how bad was the pain after the surgery?
Laura Castillo7 said:I already mentioned this above under the section about Glumicic. It passes by pretty quickly. You basically spend the first day after surgery and most of the second just sleeping—even if you do wake up more often than not because you're struggling to catch your breath. But honestly, it’s nothing you can't handle. Don't be scared; it really isn't that bad. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would, even though I was freaking out myself at the time. Looking back now... God, I panicked over absolutely nothing.

Yeah, I realized you already posted that above, so I deleted my previous message :P
Do you happen to have any photos? 😁
Laura Castillo7 said:After two days, honestly, you'll be fine. In fact, those first forty-eight hours are actually the worst part because you can barely breathe, but it passes quickly—and you end up with a beautiful nose.🙂
In my case, they actually had to break bone, which is why my bruising was so intense. But the pain? Absolutely nothing. Well, unless you accidentally bump your nose... I went in prepared for agony, but their anesthesia is so effective that there’s zero pain. At least that was my experience with this doctor; I can't speak for everyone else.

Oh man, two whole days... help. I am so incredibly impatient and high-strung that I seriously doubt I'll make it through. I can barely sit still for thirty minutes without losing my mind :O ://
Do you have any photos?

Thanks so much for the replies.🙂
Laura Castillo7 said:I honestly felt like I was dying when they pulled those tampons out. It wasn't even my throat that hurt—it was just this constant, nagging dryness from breathing through my mouth, so I basically lived with a water bottle glued to my hand. My teeth and head were absolutely throbbing from all that pressure.

How long did it take before they finally took the tampons out?
I have no clue... my throat feels like it's on fire half the time... and frankly, I'm terrified...
Did they actually have to break bone? I heard that’s way more painful than when they grind the bone or touch the cartilage.
I’m curious, how long can you actually go without breathing through your nose? (Asking because my throat is incredibly sensitive and it just constantly burns),
I heard somewhere that you have to remove tampons after just one day :O??
Did any of you deal with a sore throat from breathing through your mouth instead?
I was thinking about paying a visit to Dr. Zgaljardic... but now I’m second-guessing everything...
Hey everyone... for a few years now, I’ve absolutely loathed my nose whenever I see myself in photos... honestly, it makes me tear up quite often. I have such terrible complexes about it... when I look in the mirror, I don't really notice it, but the second I see a picture, I just spiral into a depression. I'm only 18, and I know I'm being a total coward... but it bothers me so much that I'd even consider surgery. I've never had any procedures done before, and I'm terrified that the recovery will be painful or that I'll lose my mind from the nerves. I just don't know how I'd handle not being able to breathe through my nose during the process... :O
