Chris Martin71 said:I just had my nose job done by Dr. Glumicic and honestly? I'm obsessed. If you're one of those people talking trash about him or claiming he's overhyped, shut it—you clearly have no clue what you're talking about. Everything was top-tier, from the surgery to the service. My nose looks perfect; he did exactly what I asked for. It used to have this bump, but he straightened it out, gave it a tiny lift, and shaved it down just right. It looks totally natural. Nobody can even tell I had work done because it fits my face so perfectly. Plus, two of my besties went to him too and they are beyond happy. So, to all you haters spreading fake news: stop it. Dr. Glumicic is legit the best. And for the girls coming in with absolute disaster noses expecting a miracle—get real. If you're actually ready to do this, go to him. It was painless, I felt like a new person in a week, and getting the packing out didn't even hurt. Most importantly? My nose is flawless. 🙂

Trash ad.

I’ve been lurking here for a while because I’m seriously looking into getting a nose job. Since I live abroad, I can't exactly fly back and forth for endless consultations. Right now, I'm just emailing a bunch of doctors to get info. One of them is Dr. Smith. He actually gave me the most detailed response out of everyone.
What caught my eye is that he uses the "closed technique," which is supposed to mean a way faster recovery. I’ve read in so many places that if they go with the open technique, the swelling can stick around for over a year.
His price for just a tip job is $2,000, and a full rhinoplasty is $2,500—that includes the consults and follow-up dressings.
Anyone got recent experience with Dr. Smith??

Read the thread, there’s plenty written already.

Don't recommend Smith.

Except I got a hole in my nose for free 🙂

Plus, the tip is bigger than before AND there’s a dent on the right side 😍 just great

If yours was actually successful, please DM me or post here some recommendations for a doctor who's basically a "savior." Also, tell me which doctors I should steer clear of at all costs!

And if you're happy with your revision results, please slide into my DMs with some before and after pics! Thanks!🙂 🙂

Same here, I need info too.
I was just in my t-shirt and shorts 🤷 at least that’s how I crashed
Eric Brown7 said:Can someone who's had nose surgery tell me which tests and X-rays I actually need before going under? I haven't done any testing yet, but my gut tells me it's a deviated septum plus some cosmetic work. I know I have to see a doctor and go through all the consultations, but I want to be in the loop before I even show up there.
Thanks

All I had was bloodwork and an EKG.

and I just had to jump in because I totally feel for Betty Thompson45. It seems like a ton of girls here have gone under the knife with Glušac or others, so let's get this discussion moving...

My septorhinoplasty was about eighteen months ago. Guess what? I'm still breathing through only one nostril just like before. Plus, my nose looks way bigger and wider—there's this dent right in the middle, and the tip is massive, like a literal ball. Seriously, the exact part I wanted to fix ended up looking super thick, just like what Betty Thompson45 went through.
😢...I'll post pics once I actually feel brave enough🙂))

I keep emailing the doctor, and I was back for a checkup recently where he used some local tool to poke at something so I could breathe better—did it all without even documenting it, but whatever... still can't breathe.
The doc basically blames my post-op look on my "thick skin" and claims I have to wait three years for everything to settle! I've been hearing that same line for a year straight. I've been massaging the tip like he told me to, but it's useless. Honestly, I'm terrified of what comes next. What am I even supposed to do...

Also, I'm feeling the same way about the **bolded part** 🤷

I'm wondering how I'm going to deal with the skin at the bridge of my nose. I think it's stuck because the skin won't budge at all when I try to massage it. It's not a huge deal and doesn't bother me much, but should I keep massaging it or will it just loosen up on its own?
