I have a follow-up appointment next week, and I’m planning to tell him straight up that I want a refund since he didn't deliver what he promised. Not a single one of my friends even noticed I had surgery. Every morning when I wake up and see how swollen my nose still is, I just spiral into this depression; I can't even stand looking at myself in the mirror. My appearance—specifically my nose—really affects my life, but in a totally negative way. I hate talking to people because they end up staring right at it. I went into this thinking I’d finally be rid of this burden, but instead, I’m just shocked by how little changed; all that struggle was for nothing since there's basically no result.
