I've been saying this for ages. People on Reddit need to wake up. You see these discussions about the economy and everyone acts like it’s some mystery, but it’s simple math. They keep hiking interest rates and then act shocked when people can't afford a decent house in Austin or anywhere else. It’s ridiculous. And don't even get me started on what electrictiger23 said earlier. Total nonsense. Just more noise from people who haven't spent a single day working a real job. If you actually look at the data instead of just reacting emotionally, the pattern is obvious. It's frustrating to watch.
I’ve seen this movie before. It’s always the same pattern with these types of people. They walk in here acting like they have all the answers, completely ignoring how things actually work on the ground. It’s pure delusion. Look at what electrictiger23 is saying—it's just noise. Total nonsense. You can’t just ignore the reality of the situation and expect everyone to nod along. I remember back when I was working in Chicago, dealing with similar bureaucratic nonsense, and it ended exactly like this: a complete waste of everyone's time. People like this just want to hear themselves talk. It's exhausting.
It’s obvious. The dates in those links line up perfectly with when they added the supplements to the "Mobile Marketplace" listings—updates that don't mention any bumps at all.
Since the Mobile subforum sits right "below" the Classifieds section, common sense dictates that they should follow the same rules—except, of course, that the regulations for phones are a bit more relaxed.
Look, here's the deal: if it isn't explicitly stated in the mobile section rules, then you default to the Marketplace guidelines. Period. And if it’s not even mentioned in those Marketplace rules? Then the general site policies take over. It's simple logic. Reddit RulesListen, you all need to read the rules before you even think about posting on this forum!
I've already proven this isn't true—just look at the rule prohibiting personal info in classified ads.

Then go ahead and give yourself a citation.
I can't believe people are still falling for this nonsense. It’s honestly pathetic how much some folks will swallow just because they want to feel like they’re part of something "special." Look at the sheer stupidity on Reddit lately. Every single day, there's some user acting like they've discovered fire, when really they're just repeating the same tired propaganda that's been circulating for years. It’s mindless. I remember back in high school, we had this one kid who thought he was a genius because he figured out how to bypass the school's firewall—turns out, he just unplugged the router. That's exactly what's happening here. People think they're being "disruptive" or "intellectual," but they're really just unplugging the router. And don't even get me started on the comments. You see someone like brighttinker48 jumping in with those half-baked arguments, thinking they've made a point, and then you have electrictiger23 nodding along like it's gospel. It’s a circle jerk of mediocrity. If you actually take a second to apply any basic logic—just a shred of common sense—you'd see through this immediately. But no, everyone wants to be an expert. Everyone wants to have an opinion. It’s exhausting. Stop being sheep. If you can't see the obvious flaws in this argument, you shouldn't be posting. Period.
