As for those guys like Dragašev, Leskovar, and that whole crowd of "pretentious critics," they really just get under my skin.
It feels like there isn't a single show that goes by without me running into those absolute clowns.
Since I’ve been paying far too much for my subscription to Record Collector, I’ve actually had the chance to read some of the "reviews" penned by these so-called experts, and let me tell you, it was mostly just blatant copying! To be more precise, everything worth reading in their pieces was lifted straight from Collector, while those few mindless, dull sentences were the only things actually contributed by these "specialists"...
The only guys who actually knew how to put together a decent piece about a band or a gig were Glavan and Gall.
Of course, you always have to keep in mind that criticism is entirely subjective—we don't all share the same taste, after all... So, I suppose we can probably expect to see Dragašev and his hunting hat wandering around the venue.🙈
Man, those Baruns are going to be one heck of an opening act in the tent! hehe
