@vanča, I won't get too deep into the weeds here, but if you ever get the chance, you absolutely have to catch the live show; there’s just some strange magic to it that I can't quite put my finger on. It’s always been that way for me, anyway, and much like Jason Mendoza, I’ve never really considered myself a massive fan of folk music. )))
Even if you just look at one single game... ugh, don't even get me started. ))
Hey everyone! Does anyone know if those high school marching band majorettes still exist in cities like Chicago?
I actually remembered this brilliant topic a couple of days ago, reread it, and honestly, it was pure chaos. 😂 If you’re having a rough day or whatever, here’s a little something to cheer you up. 🤣 😁
p.s. I'm right there with you all on this. I've always maintained that let3 puts on the most electric, high-octane live shows out there. The last time I caught them performing here in Chicago, I actually ended up losing three pounds just from dancing so hard 🙏 😁 and honestly, even Motley Crüe does it for me. The only local band that can truly compete with them when it comes to sheer live energy is Foo Fighters. They operate on an entirely different level.
Jason Mendoza said:the absolute worst part about cloning would be the fact that I'd just end up being myself all over again, which honestly makes the whole concept pointless since there wouldn't even be a decent chance of a mistake occurring somewhere along the line.😁
Taylor Swift
honestly, why would I ever need a clone when I can already handle everything perfectly fine with this one legendary version of myself?😁
Oh, forget it, I was just messing with you. 🤣 This forum can get a little slow for the younger crowd, which is why I do it...
Honey, that’s what a real vacation looks like—not slowly dying in a 100-degree apartment while everyone else refuses to turn on the AC because they "don't want a draft," leaving you to blast a fan that feels less like cooling and more like someone pointing a hair dryer directly at your skull. 🙂
Damn it all, I really poured my heart into this, but in the end, it feels like my neurodivergence was the only thing that actually paid off. 😁
Honestly, I think Queen Bey thinks we’ve neglected her a little bit in this thread, acting all emotional and dramatic about it :P )) Not true though... we haven't.
I rolled into Chicago at five in the morning yesterday and called a cab, only for the driver to pull up and ask me, "So, where can I take you, little lady?" 😁 Once I gave him the address, he just looks at me and asks, "Are we looking for an Apple ride?" before switching his phone over to the Apple app. 😁
Honestly, the city is absolutely swarmed with tourists right now, and one day the temperature hit a brutal 39 degrees. It was pure nightmare fuel; I could barely wait to get inside, feeling completely alienated from everything around me. 🤦 🤣
Jason Mendoza said:It’s just one single instance, really, though I suppose my tendency to overthink things means I'll probably still end up obsessing over it later.
Honestly, this is the absolute perfect album to blast on a Friday afternoon road trip.
wiredmason61 said:I actually enjoy listening to him too, and not just on Friday nights, but he really does have a habit of going flat right in the middle of his loudest notes. 😬
It’s honestly exhausting how much people can miss the point when they’re just being willfully ignorant. 😁
Just hit the road toward Chicago, so I’ll be spending this Friday drive blasting Ten; honestly, it’s the perfect album for a long trip. ) div>
