During the final culinary certification exam, the instructor decides to grill one of the assistant chefs about the menu planning from his final project.
She starts asking about some cutlets: "So, what do you call this specific breading technique?"
The kid just stares at her, looking completely lost, while my boss leans in from the side to nudge him: "Come on, what’s Vienna... what is Vienna?"
And the kid actually replies: "That's the main course!" 🤣

Anyway, the finals wrapped up today; everyone performed beautifully, and honestly, it finally feels like they've actually grown up into professionals. ))

As for me, I foolishly showed up on Thursday, which was actually when the show was supposed to happen. The second I stepped out of my apartment, the weather absolutely turned on me—just pure chaos with the rain and wind blowing trash everywhere—but since I live nearby, I figured I'd just suck it up and push through. 🤣 When I finally got to the entrance, they informed me the concert had been pushed to Sunday, and because there was such high demand, they added extra shows on Friday and Saturday.
So, I finally made it out there yesterday! They played for two hours and it was honestly incredible; Bare was totally in her element. Anyway, now I'm just feeling a bit travel-weary. 🙏 😁

Look, you don't need to explain that to me.
I honestly walked out thinking a little rain and some wind wouldn't bother me, especially with all the trash being blown around the city, but frankly, all of that is complete nonsense compared to how much I absolutely adore listening to Bruce Springsteen. ))

After standing around all day for what felt like an eternity, I finally headed out to catch a concert, only for the heavens to open up right when I left; just my luck, really 🙂 😁
