Pure insanity. 🙏 🤣

Drew Lewis2 said:I was there! It was a pretty wild, electronic-heavy set. 😁 It’s almost aggressively unpredictable, which somehow gives everything a sense of purpose, even if the whole experience feels intentionally unsettling and deeply uncomfortable.

Yeah, that’s pretty much exactly how I pictured it playing out. It feels similar to my situation with the ST—honestly, that one day just hit me harder than I expected.

Drew Lewis2 said:Merry Christmas to everyone out there. 🤣 Yeah, things were getting pretty intense over there, honestly :S Quote

So, what's the plan for November? 🤣

So be it, whatever. I honestly find myself missing a bit of a breeze. I just arrived in Chicago a couple of days ago, and I have to admit, it’s actually pretty nice here. 😁

Drew Lewis2 said:I was actually quite pleased to see that Jamie Davis9 handled things so professionally over at Tumbledown. 😁

🎉

I suppose I should have expected this kind of nonsense from someone like Santi, though I really can't say I'm surprised given how predictably things always seem to go sideways around here.

Jamie Davis9, were you at this one? I can't remember if I already asked you.

No, you haven't. 😁 But I actually quite like it.
Have you ever heard Sinkauz?

Where is everyone? I’ve been down in Florida for days—haven't been back since summer—and we've had this heavy wind blowing for three days straight, which is honestly my favorite kind of weather. 🎉 Merry Christmas to you all 😁 & cheers!

Well, look who finally decided to show up. 🙏 🤣

I suppose I should have expected this kind of nonsense to surface eventually, though it doesn't make the sheer lack of substance any easier to swallow. 🙂

Hey everyone, how are we all doing?
Everywhere I look lately, it’s nothing but endless, pathetic whining 🤦 🙄 and honestly, it never changes; it’s just the same repetitive cycle day after day.

Unbelievable...

Slomatics

Chloe Wilson46 said:It feels like there's a constant cycle of strikes in this country, and frankly, I can't even tell where the politics end and the actual issues begin anymore, but I stand with all the teachers fighting for their rights.

A lovely duo...

I'll just say that when I walked into my penultimate job—a position I held for eight wonderful years—I was actually stepping in as a substitute for a colleague who had been stabbed in the chest by a high school student with a large kitchen knife, which happened after that teacher, by my own estimation, had already made a mess of things.

Without even touching upon how much mental energy and sheer effort it takes to maintain someone's attention, lecture, write, and teach for four or five hours straight, only to be buried under mountains of tedious, mostly redundant paperwork instead of just playing solitaire😛, while simultaneously navigating the grueling family crises of teenagers whose parents beg for help because you spend more time with these kids than they do—treating them almost like your own—it's worth emphasizing that this is anything but an easy or simple profession.

Furthermore, I find it quite refreshing when people refuse to be intimidated by federal bureaucrats or local petty officials who, out of pure spite, blow through an entire professor's salary on an expensive dinner at five in the afternoon, only to throw half of it away because they can't finish it anyway.

Look, we haven't actually gone on strike at our academy for even a single day because most of us don't even fall under the Department of Education's jurisdiction. Besides, our disputed pay coefficient is already higher than average—though there's way more at stake here than just a math formula—and given how sensitive this line of work is, we simply couldn't afford to stop taking in our students.
But today, we decided to cut classes short and head down to the plaza to show some solidarity with our colleagues working within the same public system where I've spent the last 15 years of my life. Because damn it, we should. 👍 🙂

It looks like even the editors at the Morning Post finally realized Jurica Pavičić hadn't actually watched the film, so they went ahead and assigned someone else to handle the critique.

I just finished watching the film, and honestly, the technical execution was pretty flawless, as per usual.

Now, I’m not going to drone on about what everyone else has already pointed out regarding the way it partially deconstructs genre conventions—though, if you ask me, this feels like a much purer genre piece than the previous two—because there isn't much point in repeating old news.
What actually fascinates me is the motivation behind this specific directorial approach: this drive to dismantle his own inner misanthropy, which, through the actual narrative, ends up championing and provoking a sense of humanism instead. The villains, who in the director's view seem to exist in every corner of society—especially those holding positions of formal power and influence—are ultimately exposed as nothing more than clowns and fools. By stripping them down to their true essence, he robs them of their perceived authority, and from the perspective of someone in control, that strikes me as the ultimate heresy. This is exactly why I want Ivana-Goran vitez to keep making movies.

Anyway, tutoring is always a solid bet. 🙂
I absolutely love the dynamic between the thief and the henchman. 😍 Ken and Janko Popović-Volarić make a killer duo. In the forest, Ken is basically a god. Honestly, it’s refreshing to see actors who don't feel forced; Anita Matić Delić was her usual stellar self, and Zuhra was great too. Even Beader was actually tolerable, which is saying something. All those little sketches have become such a signature move now—it’s great when the regulars, who usually just go through the motions, actually bring some real grit to a scene. Speaking of which—Janeš and Ivica Zadar are total lunatics. 😬
Still, I can't help feeling bad that Paleshev didn't get even thirty seconds more screen time. 🤣 The dialogue is sharp, the cinematography is stunning, the music is cool... nothing feels out of place; everything is perfectly blended. I don't know... enough from me. 😬

If anyone's planning to go, stay until the very end. That dedication at the credits actually brought a tear to my eye. 🙂

Given that he basically fabricated an entire son out of thin air, can we even be certain that Jurica Pavičić actually sat down and watched the film? To me, this whole thing reeks of nothing more than petty internal drama.
Anyway, this feels like a slightly better recommendation than anything from Jurica Pavičić. 👍

They're actually quite decent. 😁 I’m relieved to hear everything wrapped up without any drama. Honestly, seeing them act that way wouldn't have surprised me one bit; I think it’s perfectly reasonable for them to behave exactly like that. 😁 Honestly, you guys are all just way too expensive, and frankly, there’s a reason for that. 😁

It seems we’re starting things off on a rather abrupt note, though I suppose brevity does have its own certain charm when one is feeling particularly uninspired by the state of affairs. 🙂

That was actually a pretty solid performance. 😁

Well, here we go again. 🙏 😁

Honestly, I don't know about you all, but I’ve been feeling completely drained by this whole endless cycle of time lately, and I feel like I need to summon some of those warm, coastal melodies from my sunny childhood just to feel somewhat human again. 🙂😁

The ocean is vast, indifferent, and frankly, far too much to contemplate when one is already struggling with the sheer weight of existence..

oh daddy

just wait until you see my mother. 🙂
When my dad was stuck in the ICU for eighteen days because he had to undergo two separate brain hematoma surgeries within a mere two-week window, we were all completely terrified since we honestly didn't know if he’d even wake up after that second procedure, and in those moments, I realized for the hundredth time that there isn't a single couple out there who loves each other more than they do.
