I have a Cold, and I’ve been coughing my lungs out for the past few days. Honestly, I am crossing my fingers that it’s just from the cough, because those other possibilities on the list don't exactly inspire confidence. 😢

I noticed a few numbers on my lab results that seem a bit off:
Fibrinogen activity: 4.4
Unspecified neutrophils 5.0
Platelet count 6.4
Hemoglobin 350
MCV 80.0

Is it actually possible for my fibrinogen to be elevated just because I've caught a Cold and have been coughing quite a bit lately? It's not like I'm pregnant or anything, right? 🙂
And regarding the rest of these values, am I dealing with anemia here, or are my cells just somehow lower in quality? Is this something that can even be fixed? 😕

We just got our December bill from the NYC Berkshire Hathaway utility company for water and trash pickup, but I noticed something weird. Down at the bottom on that little confirmation slip on the right side, there's this tiny, barely visible note that says, "BALANCE DUE: xyz,xx dollars"
Does anyone know how I can figure out which month this actually refers to, or what the best way is to go about paying it off?

I can’t stop thinking about that one scene from Antichrist; I don't quite remember the exact sequence of events leading up to it, but there's this image of a woman lying in a bathtub when suddenly, just for a split second, this little girl appears right in front of her with a noose around her neck and a bag over her head.

As for this new one, The Last Exorcism, the part that really sticks with me is when the guy is wandering through the house in total darkness, searching for the kid, and then suddenly, through the window, you see her standing outside in her nightgown—she's twisted in this unnatural way with her arms held out like a crucifix—and then she just bolts out of sight. 😁
