Susan Cooper23 said:What do you mean, what does a perforation have to do with anything???? That just isn't right! That is one of the absolute worst things—maybe even the worst thing—that can happen to you.

Just take your medical records over there and demand your money back.

I'm with you on this one!!!
hiddenseal14 said:What does she mean by "everyone"? No one even told me my sinuses were acting up, and nobody suggested I get an MRI or anything. He did exactly what I asked him to do...

It feels so silly now, like I'm actually out here defending him. I'm just trying to be objective, you know? And just like how some people draw these huge conclusions based on their own bad experiences—which is totally fair—I should be able to say good things about Glusac based on mine. It’s been three years since my surgery... I really don't think anything with my nose can go wrong at this point...

Well, I'm generalizing, you know what I mean. Specifically regarding the sinuses, they asked me for a scan too, said they'd open them up, put me on antibiotics, stuff like that. Then when I saw a few other similar cases, I started thinking, hmm, that's a little weird. It's not like we're a nation of people with messed-up sinuses or anything?! But overall, I agree with you, I don't think everyone has a disaster story—you're the perfect example of it working fine. But from my perspective, I wouldn't go back to him. He told me a hundred times that he never had to perform a re-operation, and now I see why. The guy just won't admit when he's made a mistake, and that's just not right!🙂
rowdyfalcon35 said:Hey. I’m not going to send you any photos because it honestly looks terrible... I don't want to scare anyone when I already have to deal with looking at this in the mirror every single day. Basically, just picture Michael Jackson's nose, then imagine it twice as thin and sunken—so much that you can barely even see the profile line. That's what my nose looks like right now. They told me today that it’s only going to get more sunken as that indentation grows. I need surgery urgently, but they won't operate on me because some idiot broke my entire nose and shortened all the bones 😢
I'll end up getting the surgery in Chicago, maybe at a hospital in the city or at Rib... If I had just gone there immediately, none of this would have happened... I just can't forgive myself...

That sounds awful... I mean, really awful. Well, I truly hope they can at least fix things up for you... I'm sorry you won't send pictures, but I totally get it.
rowdyfalcon35 said:So, I finally got my results today after dealing with all these endless struggles and complications from the surgery I had a month and a half ago... and it's bad. Apparently, I have a defect in the nostril on the left, pus in the sinuses they actually operated on—which were perfectly healthy before—and the absolute worst part... a perforation. There's an actual hole in my septum!!!! And he just brushed it off like it's nothing. My nose is sinking more and more every day; it can't get any flatter at the bridge, it just keeps dipping deeper, and he's telling me everything is fine? What does it matter if I have a perforation?! Before the surgery, he used to talk trash about other surgeons, saying you need a steady hand because if a perforation happens, you can kiss your nose goodbye. Now, he just wants to inject fat from my knee into the outer part, but what about the fact that the inside of my nose is literally collapsing? Or the fact that I have to wait months for another surgery because he basically broke all the bone structure, and by then the hole might just keep growing? It doesn't matter to him. Honestly, I'm so livid... if he's already ruined me, he's going to pay for this. He went rogue doing aesthetic work and turned a simple, minor deviated septum into a complication that’s going to be a nightmare to fix. I'm just praying to God it doesn't spread completely before the next surgery... the prognosis is looking really grim and uncertain... so much for this "expert."

Oh my God! You are seriously going through hell right now. How is all this even happening??? I'm telling you, get yourself on the waiting list for Racic. Even he told me that if a perforation happens, you're in deep trouble...! I don't even know what to say... just hang in there, keep your head up, and hopefully everything turns out okay (well, as okay as it can after all this)😕😕😕...
hiddenseal14 said:So, my experience was actually great. I’d honestly recommend Glusac to anyone. He did everything the doctor suggested, and he did an amazing job...

It’s awesome that you at least had a good outcome, and rustygardener172, how about you? Did things stay on track for you too?
I mean, look, no doctor is so bad that they’ll absolutely ruin everyone's nose. Honestly, I think the percentage of people who have issues is way lower than the ones where everything turns out just fine. For me, the thing that bothers me about Glusac is just how he tells everyone the exact same thing... he sends everyone for the same tests and suggests the same path for every single person. I just don't get it. I mean, there isn't some "one size fits all" template for noses, for crying out loud! We're all different, we all have different issues, different struggles... and let's not forget, we all have different goals too, right?🤷
rowdyfalcon35 said:He’s basically saying it’s not his fault and it’s not my fault either... just totally dodging any responsibility. He claims my mucosa is destroyed and that I’ll finally be able to breathe by next summer—ideally the summer after that. So apparently, the mucosa is gone, and we'll just have to wait and see about everything else. Right now, it's obvious there's a lack of cartilage, which caused this really pronounced rhinodorsal deformity. It's so bad that even the lightest pair of glasses just slides right off my face because there’s nothing to grip... and eventually, my nose is just going to get even thinner. And now he’s thinking about injecting fat harvested from my knee... from what I've gathered, that isn't exactly a "fix."
I'm honestly just glad I could help someone out, though I really wish someone had warned me... before my surgery, he sent me for a CT scan for absolutely no reason, just radiation exposure for nothing, and I was foolish enough to just go along with it... now I have to redo the whole thing just so they can actually see what he did inside. Now, unfortunately, I'm hearing more and more about other patients having negative experiences, people who had the exact same thing done to them as me—he operated on things that needed work and things that definitely didn't. In the end, I'm left with a... well, my nose is worse than it was before the surgery, and I can't forgive myself for not choosing a hospital. At least at a hospital, if something goes wrong, there are actual specialists who can step in to help, but this guy just does whatever he wants because "he's the best and nobody else compares." Seriously, it's like he thinks he's the only one in America or Canada... it's unbelievable.🙂

It's the exact same story for me too...😢But there's no doing anything about it now. You should have gone to the hospital under Dr. Racic, he's actually great. The only issue is the wait times with him are insane—both for consultations and especially for the surgery itself. By the time you actually get your turn, so much time will have passed that you might already be ready for a revision. Also, would you mind sending me some photos via PM? Thanks!
rowdyfalcon35 said:After my surgery, they told me they’d operated on my sinuses and placed medication inside them, but then the CT scan showed everything was perfectly clear and open😕 I was just left there totally stunned...
My honest advice? Go to a hospital... I regret every single day that I didn't choose a hospital. Now the hospital is going to have to fix whatever this expensive private doctor messed up, and until then, I’m stuck dealing with the pain for at least six months to a year because he basically fractured all the bones in my nose.

I got the exact same story. "We'll open up the sinuses, put some meds in there, because we think you have a sinus issue." Thank God I didn't get an X-ray for my sinuses—just more useless radiation because of some hack doctor. I am seriously so sorry this happened to you... honestly, I feel so lucky that I backed out when I did before things went wrong...

Yeah, it's true. Glusac isn't really for everyone 😁
I actually picked him myself... I made my choice after just five minutes of talking to him. For me, what mattered most was his vibe—I needed to feel totally comfortable around him, you know? Like, I could yell, talk nonsense, swear if I wanted to... and he does such an amazing job. Honestly, I don't regret it for even a single second 🙏

I'm seriously so happy you're satisfied! In theory, I guess it shouldn't matter what kind of person someone is, right? Just that they're a pro... but honestly, I can't even bring myself to give him a chance as a specialist, especially after seeing all those negative comments popping up on the forums lately. To be real with you, I didn't even like him at first glance, so I just started hunting for bad reviews to confirm it... You really just have to trust your gut, no matter how you look at it! 🙄
rapidfalcon39 said:I had my nasal passages widened, the hump shaved down, and the tip shortened. Total cost: 9 grand—all cash.

$3.00? It’s way cheaper than the other options out there... Glusac is $5.00.
rowdyfalcon35 said:I’ve really taken some time to sit down and think about what I actually want, and honestly, I've said my piece. All I wanted was to end up with a Michael Jackson style feminine nose because apparently, that’s what he likes (though he kind of rambled through it and won't admit it). Not even mentioning the actual function of it all... He approached me the same way too, acting like he's the only one who knows anything, like everyone else is just garbage. Then I realized he tells everyone the exact same pitch—same people, same stories, just identical scripts! He always blamed others for his own failures, and in this case, I'm sure he'll try to blame someone else for me too. But I know what happened before the surgery. I have my CT scan results right here, and they clearly show zero signs of bone destruction. The deviation is minor—that's what it actually says—even though he insisted it was absolutely massive... So, he basically operated on perfectly healthy sinuses, so he can forget that whole story about everything going wrong because of some "unbelievable fracture" that, miraculously, neither I nor anyone close to me remembers happening. It was just so, so, so bad. So bad it didn't even show up on the scan. He even managed to convince me of it until I opened my eyes and started seeing more and more experiences from girls facing the exact same issues. Ladies, please, watch out. I wish someone had warned me... I saw the warning too late, after a few years post-op when more and more previously enthusiastic people started coming forward whose excitement faded for these very same reasons.

I went to see Gusac for a consultation myself, and I got the exact same routine. He knows everything, he's the best... An hour of him just talking about himself, it's honestly terrifying! Anyway, I crossed him off my list completely, and I think Tony is my next stop. G. kept bringing up my sinuses to me too, acting totally convinced there was a major issue. Just like him, nobody else is any good, he thinks he's God! Seriously, hats off to anyone who actually decides to choose him after going through that kind of lobotomy.
Kate Taylor76 said:Hey everyone... So, I had my nose surgery about two and a half months ago now. And honestly? My nose looks absolutely terrible...😢 It’s like a slide... honestly. Looking at my nose now, I realize my old one wasn't actually that bad. I have to admit, I really messed up by not doing my homework properly before going through with the surgery...😢 I was searching for a nose that looked bumpy... thinking about one person, only to realize I actually meant someone else was the one with the bumps...😢 If any of you guys happen to have a crooked nose right now... could you please send me a photo? If it's not too much trouble, I mean. Please... I'm begging you...

Hey there! So, who did you actually go to for your surgery? I’ve been thinking about it so much lately... if it isn't too much trouble, would you mind sharing a photo of the results? I'm seriously planning on doing this myself soon! Thanks so much...

shadowseal372 said:Hey, can you guys tell me... I'm really curious... about what kind of nose surgery you all had... is it actually possible for the swelling to still be there after 12 months? It feels like such a long time already... I just want to know if this is normal...
So, has the bone actually finished knitting back together at the fracture site yet? My doctor keeps telling me that I just have thick skin and super dense bones, so he thinks that’s why it’s still so swollen... basically saying I need to wait at least another six months... After the surgery, my nose looked absolutely perfect, but now... well, let's just say it's not looking quite as great as it did... 😢

Hey there! Would you mind sharing a photo if it isn't too much trouble? Also, I was wondering who your surgeon was... thanks so much!

Kimberly Thompson75 said:The price over at Dr. Borić's is... $3333 And there isn't even any sales tax...🙂Honestly, I truly believe that price shouldn't even be a factor for anyone ready to take this leap... especially if you find a doctor who actually knows their stuff and delivers real results. I just wanted to jump on here and say that Dr. Borić doesn't need to run ads or anything like that because he doesn't have to... he has so much experience under his belt, and honestly, I am beyond thrilled with my results... Oh, and by the way, consultations are freeeeeeeeee!🙂))
Oh, and I almost forgot... when you're completely under, you just feel so peaceful. You look so sweet and dear, like a little sister just resting, and you don't feel a single thing. Then you wake up feeling genuinely happy... honestly, nothing, absolutely nothing hurts. I was actually hoping my husband would come pick me up right away, and the nurses were so sweet—they even made me a coffee and put together a little sandwich for me. It was just wonderful...🙂)))

Kimberly Thompson75, if you wouldn't mind sending over those photos... if it's not too much trouble. Thanks so much...
