After my prolonged period of debate and heavy criticism, I feel it is necessary to offer some credit where it is due. I want to commend the individuals working behind the scenes to ensure this forum is actually improving. From my perspective, everything is functioning correctly now and the issues have been resolved. My compliments go out to everyone involved, from the administrators down to the moderators. 👍

I agree, there is something fundamentally broken about the culture on this forum.

The login process on this site is an absolute joke. I’ve attempted to sign in three separate times, only to be kicked back out every single time. This forum is performing poorly, and frankly, it’s unacceptable. Are you actually planning to address these technical failures? It is hard to believe such basic functionality remains broken. And before anyone starts, don't you dare try to tell me the issue lies with my computer
. Give me a break—use some common sense. It is incredibly frustrating to deal with these constant interruptions when all I want to do is log in and participate in a discussion. Just fix it.
Why is this not working? in Forum Help! ·
Why is it impossible to post a comment on the thread "loose heating element wire on a mini stove"

Here we go. Even now, when I actually tried to submit this comment, the system kicked me out twice, forcing me to re-enter my username and password all over again.

The purpose of this specific thread is technical support for this website, not basic computer literacy tutorials or troubleshooting your local hardware. There are entirely different sections on the IT boards for those kinds of issues.

Your explanation of the issue is catastrophically vague. You claim the site is "mixing up letters," but you fail to provide any precision. To put it bluntly, describing a technical glitch this way is the equivalent of walking into a mechanic's shop and saying:
- My car isn't working.
- How do you know? What are the actual symptoms?
- It just goes "vroom vroom" and then stops. Why won't it go?

Whatever this "letter mixing" is supposed to be, it is almost certainly an issue with your own machine—or how you are operating it—rather than a fault with the website itself. If this were a server-side issue with the site, every single user would be experiencing it. Since they aren't, the variable is clearly on your end.

@Kevin Garcia70, briskmoose90:
Regarding the logout issue, I can't speak to that definitively. It might actually be a site-wide bug. The most practical workaround is to use the "remember me" feature during login. As for managing multiple users, you should simply create separate user profiles on your PC (or, if you prefer the less efficient route, manually log out of the site before closing your browser session).

Look, if this is supposed to be a technical support thread for the site rather than a computer basics class, then please explain why so many people here seem to be running into the exact same thing. Specifically, I don't encounter these issues on any other forums, which proves that something is wrong with your platform.
1. How am I supposed to explain the "mixing letters" thing? Let's try this: I start typing a sentence
(And I’ve already proven this happens; you only need to look at ten or more of my previous posts to see it.)
Here’s an example. I type one thing, and it comes out as gibberish.
For instance, if I type a word, the letters get swapped. I tried typing very slowly, one letter at a time, and noticed that when I hit a key, nothing appears immediately; instead, the character only shows up once I press the *next* key, and even then, it displays the previous character incorrectly. I visit other forums all the time and never deal with this. Maybe someone else is seeing this too. So, there's your "vroom vroom" explanation.
I guarantee my computer is fine. Based on what I know, the issue is clearly here. Apparently, I'll have to sit through some remedial training on this forum after all.
Don't take this personally, but I am trying to point out actual problems occurring on my end.
I haven't been registered here for two months; I've been here for two years, so I'm well aware of how this forum works and how to log in.

So, what do you think the actual purpose of this forum should be? Here is my take:
1. I am not writing out my life story in every single post; my replies aren't even three minutes long, let alone five.
2. Why is there a glitch where characters are getting mixed up on this specific board, yet everything works perfectly fine on the others?
3. I already checked my keyboard settings and the issue persists; clearly, nobody bothered to fix this mess.
4. I only use this computer for browsing, but I did ask about that option earlier.
If this isn't the right place for this discussion, then I don't see any point in asking questions at all, especially when it feels like some of the admins here are just incredibly full of themselves.
As an admin, you could have simply pointed me toward the right section or suggested opening a new thread.
What's the story behind the forum logo? in Forum Help! ·
And here I was thinking it was just some basic paper punch—it’s actually designed to punch those two larger holes for binders and folders.

1. Ever since I selected the "remember me" option, the login process has been a total mess. Every time I try to sign in, it immediately tells me my password is incorrect. After two or three failed attempts, it finally lets me through. But here’s the kicker: as soon as I finish typing a comment and hit send, the system throws an error saying I’m not even logged in.
2. My keyboard is acting up, too—it keeps mixing up letters, so if I actually want to get a thought down, I have to type painfully slow. ::: To be fair, things have improved slightly over the last few days.
3. Now that I am permanently logged in, the site automatically signs me in whenever I visit the forum.
I have a question regarding how to log out properly. Since I'm always signed in, anyone else who uses my computer can just jump straight onto the forum and read all my private posts.

Maybe it’s just better to stay quiet and call it a day. I’m not entirely sure if you hold a moderator position here or not, but whenever someone points out an issue, they're met with a dismissive response, and that's supposedly the end of it. I would have preferred if you simply admitted that work is being done to fix these issues and that everything will be back to normal shortly.

mellowseal27, you are persistently defending a position that simply isn't supported by the facts. We are all dealing with the exact same technical hurdles and we are pointing them out, yet you continue to deny their existence as if the fault lies with our employers rather than this forum. For instance, I am dealing with an issue where my characters are scrambling, and this happens exclusively on this site—not to mention the constant crashing.
And there is one more thing: whenever I attempt to navigate back through pages, I have to click the back arrow twice. It used to be that a single click would take me straight to the previous page, but now it requires a double action, and again, this is happening only on this specific forum. Explain why this is occurring here and nowhere else.

Seriously, why is it that whenever I’m navigating back from (read that with the arrows) a page, I have to click twice just to get where I want to go?

There is something fundamentally broken with this forum—it would honestly take me all of two minutes to type this out if the interface actually worked.
Here is an example of how it looks when I try to type at a normal speed.
fakat nešto nije uer du sa ovim fomurom - da ovo napišemrt eba mi 2 min vremena .užsano zamijenjuje slo iav to samo na ovom forumu.
If there were an actual issue with my computer, I would be seeing these same errors on every other website I visit.

Listen, everyone—can we actually get this thing fixed or not? Honestly, I’m having such a hard time even typing this right now.
Login issues in Forum Help! ·
Exactly. Why isn't this working on other forums? And why does Word behave perfectly fine when I'm just typing normally?
Login issues in Forum Help! ·
How am I supposed to get any work done on this computer? I just tried logging in for the third time and got kicked out, even though I entered everything correctly.
I even swapped out the keyboard, but the letters are still coming out scrambled.

ADMIN, I NEED YOU TO LOOK INTO WHAT IS GOING ON HERE. I JUST TRIED TO LOG IN AND WAS IMMEDIATELY KICKED OUT, AND THAT HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES NOW IN A ROW.
.I AM WRITING IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE THE SYSTEM WON'T LET ME USE LOWERCASE; THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME TO TYPE IN SMALL LETTERS. PLUS, EVERY TIME I HIT A KEY, I HAVE TO WAIT A SECOND BEFORE TYPING THE NEXT ONE OR THE CHARACTERS GET ALL JUMBLED UP. IT’S COMPLETELY UNUSABLE. MY KEYBOARD IS LAGGY, BUT EVEN THAT ISN'T THE MAIN ISSUE—I TRY TO HIT CAPS LOCK TO FIX THIS MESS, BUT IT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
MY LOGIN CREDENTIALS ARE ENTERED CORRECTLY, YET THE SYSTEM KEEPS REJECTING ME.
IT IS EMBARRASSING THAT YOU CAN KICK US OFF THE FORUM INSTANTLY FOR USING A BAD WORD, BUT YOU CAN'T seem to fix a fundamental technical failure like this.
Login issues in Forum Help! ·
I’m running into issues right from the jump. I enter my username and password, only to be told repeatedly that the credentials are incorrect. After a few failed attempts, the system locks me out for fifteen minutes. I’ve also noticed that if I type too quickly, the keyboard starts scrambling my letters—this is what happens when I try to type fast (fast typing)
results in a jumbled mess. It seems like this glitch is happening exclusively on this forum.
