Kimmy is an absolute queen... just gorgeous... though honestly, I think Angelin is stunning too—especially that nose of hers, haha.

Could you send me some pics via DM? Also, quick question—did they do the surgery under general anesthesia or just local with sedation?
rustygardener172 said:So, I've sent those photos over via PM to everyone who asked... hope they landed in your inbox okay! 🙂 Honestly, I am absolutely loving my new carrier!! 😍 Fingers crossed you guys like them too 😬

Can I get one too?
rustygardener172 said:Just checking in... today is my first day post-op. I’m starting to swell and seeing some bruising today, but honestly? No pain at all. I feel amazing—even if I look a little rough right now 😁
The surgery went perfectly! At least, that's what they told me... everything is functioning properly now, which really helps the aesthetics too—my nose is finally straight. I took the tampons out this morning, and just before they put the splint on, I caught a glimpse of myself... it looks gorgeous!! Even with the swelling, I absolutely love it!!!!!! My mom was there with me, and she is totally thrilled! The whole team in Malibu was wonderful... I can't even pick just one person to highlight. I was incredibly nervous before the procedure, but those four—the surgeon, the anesthesiologist, the nurse, and the tech—really helped me relax and kept me laughing... seriously, nothing but praise for them! They were lovely!
If anyone else has questions, please feel free to ask...

I've actually seen a few pretty poorly done noses coming out of his clinic... I'm so glad you're happy with yours.:👍

Don't go thinking our surgeons are the gold standard—or that they just rush through procedures without thought.
I actually went to Glumičić.
He isn't all that special—he tends to over-rotate the tip, which totally kills the natural look of the nose.
If we’re being honest about Blanka's nose, it's way too small for her face.
Because of that, the nostrils really pop out.
Maybe someone starting with a massive nose would love the result, but definitely not me.

That's the core issue with surgeons here—they don't know how to create a nose that actually fits the facial harmony while still looking natural.
Personally, I felt much more attractive and natural before this unnecessary procedure I rushed into.👎
There are so many cases where people end up unhappy because the nose becomes a distraction—like an ornament rather than part of the face.
Who actually wants that?

Anyway, you're only a month and a half post-op. Your nose is going to change and transform quite a bit—you might actually be happy with it in the end.
Whatever happens, there's always a solution. Honestly, I wouldn't trust some local "quasi-surgeon" for a revision. That first lesson was way too expensive.
I'll definitely consider a revision down the road, but if I have to, I am more than ready to head abroad to see actual specialists—since revision surgery is a whole different beast than the primary one. There's plenty of time.
Good luck.🙂

Did you tell Glumičić EXACTLY what kind of nose you wanted, or did you just leave it up to him to decide?
Melissa Ward29 said:So, here’s the real deal!! I am beyond disappointed with Dr. Ostojic—not just as a person, but as a surgeon too!! My nose is a complete mess, yet he’s trying to convince me it looks great... As soon as the splint came off, I could see it was going all wrong—there's this bump left on the right side. Plus, he didn't listen to my wishes at all and just did whatever he wanted!!! He shortened it and lifted it way too much—way, way too much!!! I went in for a follow-up recently, and he actually admitted there's still a bump, but he's trying to sell me on fixing it with fillers on the left side to make it look symmetrical... When I asked about the upturned tip, he told me that's just how he does noses, claiming it's "preventative" so I'll have a youthful look when I'm older... I mean, who is actually crazy here?!

Out of pure desperation, I decided to go get a consultation with Dr. Gulic (after hearing through the grapevine that her clinic has top-tier specialists for revision rhinoplasty). And man, was I in for a surprise!!! After she examined me and heard who performed my surgery, she told me that a ton of patients come to her specifically for revisions from that same doctor... (and yep, he offers the filler fix too). She said his noses all end up looking the same—he shortens them radically, but once he opens the nose up, it's a total disaster zone inside. She confirmed everything I was worried about: the leftover bump, the nose being way, way too lifted, and far too short... Even with the swelling, she thinks it might actually look even more upturned once the inflammation goes down—oh my god!!! I also showed her my pre-op photo, and she was honestly shocked by what a catastrophe my nose became...

I could have easily kept this to myself, but it feels like a crime not to warn you guys—so please, just decide for yourselves based on this.

That being said, I am genuinely happy to see some girls are thrilled with his work!!!

Just really think long and hard about whose hands you're putting yourself in!!

I hope I haven't offended anyone...

Oh man, now I'm actually scared... Thanks for sharing this with us!
Melissa Ward29 said:I had my rhinoplasty about a month and a half ago—and honestly? It feels like my surgeon was in such a rush that he totally botched it. I’m looking for anyone who’s gone through a revision surgery to share their stories, because it looks like a redo is definitely in my future.

It would actually be super helpful for everyone if you could just name that "surgeon" 🙂--maybe save us all some trouble!
Adam Johnson said:When my nose was still swollen, everything looked perfectly symmetrical—totally fine. But now that the swelling has gone down, I’m seeing these weird irregularities from the front view. It’s almost like an hourglass shape; it gets narrow, then widens, then narrows again... though it actually looks alright from the profile.

Which doctor did you see?
Rebecca Gomez37 said:Zachary Nguyen29—did you end up taking the mold out?
What do you think? — write back, and if you can, shoot me some photos via DM.😉

Can I get in on this too? — Count me in!
driftingpuma26 said:I'll send some photos tomorrow!!

🙏 Thanks so much!!!! 🙏

and......
it’s just breathtaking!!!!!!! It's still a little damp.. but man...
I can't believe it.... 😁 😁 😁 I am beyond thrilled 😁

That's wonderful—I'm so happy for you! Any chance you could send me a pic via DM if you don't mind?
Ashley Young34 said:I was just sitting there watching—honestly, I couldn't look away. 😁We'll see how things turn out—I've got a good feeling about the results. As for her nose, though—it definitely wasn't right before—she had that little bump and it was looking totally crooked on the left side. 😁It’ll probably be great now—fingers crossed! 😍

My form is slightly off—leans a bit too far to the left—and I didn't even realize it until Glumičić pointed it out. Honestly, looking back at my photos, I always look a little more crooked than I intended! 🙂
Honestly, I thought I only needed a tiny tweak—just a little tip adjustment. But once I sent my photos over to Ostojić and Glumičić, it turned out there’s actually quite a bit more to do—to quote one of them: "From the front, I think we should narrow the nasal tip (the bottom part). From the profile view, you probably want the nose to look smaller overall, so we'd need to smooth out that slight bump on the bridge and reduce the size of the nose entirely, maybe lifting the tip a bit." The other response was pretty much the same thing. Basically, to make it all look balanced in the end, a few more corrections are necessary—like, if you take away the bump, you have to adjust the tip too, otherwise the nose just ends up looking longer than it did before the bump was gone. Anyway, I'll stop playing expert now!😍
Ashley Young34 said:...from what I can gather so far, there’s only one person on this forum unhappy with Dr. Ostojić—and while the doctor won't go on record naming public figures, I did manage to snap a photo of Simonica from that huge pile of pictures; she had her nose and lips done by him. 😍

Did you guys catch Ms. Gotovac on the news today? She just had nose surgery with Dr. Glumičić, so we'll see how it turns out in a few days—just so we aren't left wondering! 🙂 Though, honestly, her nose was perfectly fine before...
Kate Thompson45 said:Did you set up those consultations yet? When? And with whom?
Is Glumičić pulling you in because of his reputation—or do you just love his nose styles?

Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of Glumičić's work at first—I actually thought American surgeons didn't quite get the specific tip finish I'm looking for—but then I checked out Ostojić's portfolio and realized I was wrong. His noses are gorgeous.
Well, it really comes down to taste, right? Both guys are top-tier pros who have done tons of rhinoplasties 😂 so you probably can't go wrong either way. Actually, I saw Ostojić at a follow-up a few days ago, and he mentioned he’s done nearly 2,000 nose jobs! That's serious experience. 🙏

Basically, I've penciled in both Glumičić and Ostojić for April—I just need to give them a heads-up a few days beforehand. As for why Glumičić is on my radar? Honestly, I don't know—I just know a few people who went to him and had zero issues. Though, when it comes to "perfect" noses... that's subjective, I guess. Some people don't even know what they actually want! But I definitely do. 🙂 Yeah, his reputation definitely helps—so many celebrities have gone to him and all that... I haven't personally known anyone who used Ostojić, but looking at the before-and-after photos for both, Ostojić's results look much more refined, smaller, and cuter to me. The only thing is, looking at this forum, it seems like more people mention having postoperative issues after seeing Ostojić.
Kate Thompson45 said:Zachary Nguyen29—yeah, I totally get that! I used to start threads constantly myself—just reading through all those articles and sites over and over again. 😍 That’s totally normal! Honestly—I’ve had my fair share of wild dreams too...

Noah Moore4—I’m guessing you’ve already reached out to people who've used them and had them send over some before-and-after shots? If not, that might be a smart move. Both of them have photos on their websites, so you can get a feel for their work there, too. Honestly, Ostojić’s photos look better—he shows more than just a profile view, he actually includes shots from the front. If you’re still stuck between the two, your best bet is just to book consultations with both and see who wins you over! 😂

Actually, I'm not—I only checked in on Kroketica to see how her recovery was going after that surgery at Glumičić’s, but it looks like she hasn't been active around here for a while. Honestly, it's kind of a drag having to chase people down. 🙄 So, I’m putting this out there—if anyone feels like sending those photos over via DM, I would seriously appreciate it!👍
When it comes to the photos on their websites—Ostojić definitely wins there—but Glumičić has been using the exact same three shots for like ten years now. 🤷 I'm feeling that pull toward Glumičić again—honestly, I can't wait to finally get to my consultation and settle this whole dilemma once and for all...
Ashley Young34 said:No way—who are you actually seeing and when?
(I’m just not feeling those emojis right now...)

I'm still torn between Ostojić and Glumičić—honestly. Since I'm not based in Washington, D.C., I won't be able to swing a consultation until April, so I'll probably make my final call then.🤷
Ashley Young34 said:Man, only 11 days left—I’ve actually stopped counting because I'm so nervous😢—and I find myself refreshing this thread every single hour🤣... ugh, I honestly wish it would just happen tomorrow so I could get it over with, but hey... it'll be here before we know it😁

Jupa! Trust me, I'm definitely not the only freak checking this thread 20 times a day!🙏
I actually had a photo edited in Photoshop once—and honestly, after seeing how good I looked in the final version, I was totally sold on getting surgery. If the actual results turn out like that... then I'm all in!
Smith has it at 9,500 for the local version—but then jumps up to 11,500 for the standard one. Honestly, that price gap is kind of wild...
Kimberly Baker13 said:Does anyone happen to know the going rate for a purely cosmetic rhinoplasty under general anesthesia with Dr. Glumicic?

Nothing? I feel like I saw someone mention a price around $1,800 somewhere on this forum—though honestly, that seems way too low compared to Smith and his usual range of $9,500-$3833.
