Nicole Ortiz34 said:It’s been exactly 3 weeks. The tip is swollen, but nothing else really. I look terrible, and the worst part is waiting 6 months for the second surgery... 😢 Having a worse nose after surgery is just devastating, everyone will see it when I visit the doctor!!! Honestly, I'm considering suing for emotional distress and how awful I look :/ It looks the same, except the bump is even bigger now, a total masterpiece...

🙂

Can you tell us which surgeon you went to in Miami?!
Thanks
Betty Edwards22 said:Look, let's get one thing straight—a nose isn't just for looks; it's about function. Anything you touch during surgery impacts how it actually works. How successful you are really depends on your grasp of anatomy, respiratory physiology, and various pathologies. Honestly, besides an ENT, no other specialist dives that deep into those specific issues. Everything else is just a hit-and-run approach.

So, are you saying someone who’s never had breathing issues can't just get a rhinoplasty to fix a bump for purely aesthetic reasons?!
I don't get why not?!
I know plenty of people who've had surgery and have zero issues afterward, even though they didn't have any problems to begin with.
It's the same with breast augmentations—it's not about "function," yet so many people go under the knife just for the look.
hiddenseal14 said:I had my surgery done by Dr. Miller in Miami. My nose looked mostly fine aesthetically—not crooked or huge. The real issue was functional; I couldn't breathe because of a deviated septum, especially at night. It’s been 2 years now, and I can breathe perfectly and my nose looks totally normal.

The way this actor tweaks noses means nothing to me. Just like his TV commercials don't mean anything to me. It doesn't change the fact that the guy isn't an ENT, and because of that, he isn't qualified enough to be messing with my nose. I really don't care about nose jobs for celebrities or any other "stars."

Wait, do you actually think top-tier surgeons need to be strutting down red carpets or appearing on reality shows??? They make their living treating regular "little" people, not celebrities.

By the way, Blanka's nose is a total warning sign. It's way too short, too upturned, too thin... just way too small for her face. I'd bet anything she can't even breathe normally with that tiny little thing 😁

I'm just saying, you should really think about whether you want someone to operate on you because they fix celebrity noses and chase TV fame, or because they're actually an expert who knows their stuff.

You can't judge nasal function based on how big someone's nose is. Mine is bigger and still doesn't work right, yet a friend of mine has a tiny, narrow nose and breathes like a champ.
I agree Blanka's nose isn't great—it could have been better—but you can't tell just by looking if she struggles to breathe. And again, Blanka looks a hundred times prettier now than she did before. I've mentioned this before, but I know plenty of people who got rhinoplasty purely for aesthetics; they never even knew what a deviated septum or sinus issues were. They just wanted to look better, and their breathing stayed perfect.
People dealing with actual functional issues see this surgery completely differently, and in my opinion, they absolutely need to see an ENT specialist.
Megan Moore76 said:I just have to say, I am absolutely obsessed with Ecija Ojdanić's nose. You can see it in Larina's choices every single night 😁 Glumičić did such an amazing job with it! I might actually carry around her photo just to show people exactly what kind of nose I want.
...but then I get totally let down when I see the nose of that other (redheaded) actress in the same series—hers looks way too short and just seems so weird. You probably know who I mean, I won't name names 🙂 though maybe that was her goal🤷

It's obvious she dreams of looking like those local plastic surgery regulars who think they're all that with those huge lips and Botox...
I can't tell which one is which, but she definitely wanted that red look!!! And she thinks she looks so great doing it🤣
analogbison13 said:Personally, I thought Ecija looked way better with her original nose. It just suited her personality more, and her face had so much more expression and charm... ☕

Exactly! And this is why when people ask for recommendations here, it's so tough—everyone has such different tastes...
Carol Reed64 said:I'm with you there. Even if people want to claim her nose is a disaster, I think it looks great! I haven't seen any photos of Glumicic's nose that look bad to me at all...

I've been thinking the same thing, but hey, everyone has different tastes and I don't want to get into an argument about it.
Personally, I think Blankin's nose looks way better than her old one—it really suits her face.
And honestly, the rumors about Glumicic operating on Nina Moric-to? Totally fake. She had some issues while she was in Italy... it's just funny how people take gossip and run with it like it's gospel.
Kate Lee43 said:Nah, that's an old one.
Here are some newer ones...

I think she did an amazing job with this!

Nah, that's the old one.
Check out this new one...
Rachel Barnes5 said:Her nose looks pretty natural, though I wouldn't say a tiny, upturned nose is necessarily what girls are asking for when they go to Glumicic for surgery...
Actually, so many of them ask for something else entirely, only to end up with a pinched look, almost like Blankin's. You can see it in the posts here, and even in stories about people needing corrective surgery from other doctors.
Honestly, her nose is a total win compared to all those other famous noses he tends to rush through...
Just my honest take.😉

This might sound weird, but I actually know 12 people who had their noses done by him. They aren't celebrities, so I can't show you photos of how gorgeous their noses turned out...
Let me list a few famous names that haven't really come up much here—just Google them and you'll see Glumicicev's work. I'm talking about Iva Jerkovic, Lorena Nosic, Iva Šaric, Tihana Runje, Jelena Šimić, Brankica Čonda, Marko Grubnić, Indira Mujkic, Marija Cvitanovic, Lejila Sehovic, Ivana Hoty, Ecija Ojdanic... Now I probably sound like some Glumicic superfan or a propaganda bot, but he really is a master at the aesthetic side of things. A friend of mine came in with a photo of some model with a tiny nose, and he explained how the symmetry of her lips, eyes, and cheekbones meant that specific nose was way too small for her face. Now she has this perfectly balanced, beautiful nose! He seems to prefer a slightly more "snubbed" profile, but personally, I think it's such a lovely feminine look. I swear, women walk into his office with pictures of Severina or Angelina and insist on having those exact noses...
I'm pretty well-informed since I deal with this same crowd in my own line of work.
Kimberly Baker13 said:Really? I haven't seen him in person yet, but looking at these photos, he looks absolutely perfect. And you're so right, she's looking totally gorgeous now...
Is that confirmed info...?🥳

She was 100% right about him. She laid out exactly what she wanted and what she didn't, and he followed her lead to a T. Honestly, that reputation he has is such a myth... it's just that our girls won't admit they were actually looking for that specific look—you know, small, compact, totally Hollywood...
You look even more stunning in person! You know how much photos depend on the lighting and the angle...
Kimberly Baker13 said:Does anyone know which surgeon Marijana Batinić went to for her nose job? Honestly, if I had those results, I'd be rushing to get the same thing done immediately...😉

She went to Glumicic! Her nose looks absolutely stunning now, such a perfect result...

Check out these cosmetic surgery results—3 photos showing a rhinoplasty to slim down the nose.

Honestly, this is exactly what I want for my nose... I’ve been chatting with some experts and they all say Dr. Klapan is the absolute best choice. They recommend him as a top-tier ENT who also specializes in facial plastic surgery. The man has dual specializations and years upon years of experience!
...I'm just sitting here reading his website right now—so impressed
http://www.poliklinika-klapan.com/index.php?menuID=3
...and those before-and-after shots look totally spot on to me.
stormyharbor2 said:Mine looks just like that now, except with much wider bridges and maybe a slightly lower tip—kind of "hooked," though most people wouldn't even notice.

That girl posted her photo on this thread ages ago, and honestly, her nose is stunning from every angle. Especially from the front—just such a cute little thing with narrow bridges. When I saw her, I actually wanted to go see Tončić...

She really used to have that large, prominent hump, and now it looks totally natural, like she never even had surgery. I love that about it.
Personally, I’m not a fan of those noses that look like they just sprout straight out of the face being perfectly flat, which is what I see Toncic doing.

Kate Taylor59—regarding anesthesia, he does it that way because it's the cheaper option—that's why it costs $10 $0.00. You should offer to pay extra for general anesthesia if you actually like his work. Dr. Ivo Dzepina over at the Glumicic clinic is fantastic, so if you're up for it, go to him and ask for him exclusively. He specializes in revisions; he's a true master with 30 years under his belt... Dr. Klapan is also excellent... there are other surgeons in Los Angeles besides Toncic, and obviously, he attracts people mainly through his pricing. Not that I'm biased, but none of Bagatin's noses are worth mentioning, and neither are Ostojic's.
Megan Moore76 said:And why don't they touch the tip? The tip of my nose is rounded, and I feel like if they just lifted it (which needs to happen because it's drooping), I'd end up with a tiny, thick nose like what Žanamari has, and I am really not feeling that look :/

Are you kidding me? Most people have such obvious changes. For some, it was just about smoothing out small bumps, but the difference between the old and new noses is just too clear. I don't know how I didn't notice the photos sooner, I actually love these noses.

No, no, I'm not joking, the differences there are minimal and honestly not worth mentioning.
Here is the kind of nose I actually like—I'm not a fan of tiny, pointy noses, but these are still a bit too big and don't look feminine enough for my taste!!!
Kate Taylor59 said:Here you go http://www.toncic.net/en/surgical-procedures/rhinoplasty/ 😉

Honestly, I only think Curi looks good now with that short blonde hair. Everything else feels kind of meh... I don't see them looking any prettier or noticing much of a difference.
Such a waste of money, the surgery, all that pain... unless it actually helps them breathe better, then it's fine. For aesthetics? A solid 2 out of 10!!!
jadecrane3 said:No way, don't pay for that repair... seriously, if you pay him, there's absolutely no chance you'll ever go back to him...

I tried sending you a PM, but it just won't go through...
Your storage is full—delete some messages...🙂
Cartilage tends to both swell up and grow back...
So you get constant changes in that area, not just on the nose but all over the body.
What Dr. Glušac says about bumps, lumps, and protrusions being caused by that filing process is true, but that only applies to the bone part—so basically, from the eyebrows down to the middle of the nose.
Especially since the bone doesn't really settle until the 6-12 month mark, and during that time, once the swelling goes down and everything thins out, the cartilage can start looking much more prominent.
I honestly think this isn't even about the surgeon, it's just how the body works...
I know so many people who had surgery with the exact same doctor, and for some, it looks amazing, while for others, it’s just bad.
Nancy Perez74 said:I just couldn't get through to him at all. He showed me on his computer what I'd look like after the surgery... the nose looked okay, pretty straight, but it’s just not what I want. I told him exactly what I was looking for, but he just said no—claiming the difference would be so subtle that hardly anyone would even notice. And then I'm supposed to pay 14k for that... $0.00 Nothing yet... still looking... nobody's said a single word about Tony Stark, and I need to know ASAP since I have that consultation there today?!

Tony Stark does straight noses—definitely not him if that's the look you're going for...
Just go... then you'll finally understand. He isn't going to work like some little kid trying to mimic Glumičić's nose... he's looking for someone who actually fits your face, your head shape, your beard, and your lips. But most importantly? He needs you breathing in the exact same rhythm as him...
Maybe you should head over to Kincl...
Nancy Perez74 said:I'm planning on getting surgery soon, so could you guys tell me which private plastic surgeons in Washington, D.C. do those cute, slightly upturned noses? Honestly, I don't want that classic straight nose Glumičić suggested during my consultation—I want the tip to tilt up a bit. Is Tony Stark or John Smith better for that?? thanks

Glumičić definitely does the cutest noses if that's what you're after.
He’s actually famous for that!!! He won't second-guess you—if you want a tiny nose where you can barely breathe, he'll just do it. He's a true plastic surgeon.
Unlike the ENT/maxillofacial surgeons who refuse to put aesthetics before how the nose actually functions.
