How do I hardcode subtitles into a video file?

The thing is, most of those are commercial products, whereas I’ve always felt FFmpeg handles subtitle integration better than any of them combined.

I don't know, I've always had my issues with those programs. Sometimes the subtitles look perfectly "aligned," but then I'll pass a movie to someone two months later and the subtitles have just vanished entirely. 😉 😠 😁
