It's because a flare is classified as Class B pyrotechnics, and Class B is strictly restricted to that window between December 27th or 28th through New Year's Day—and even then, you aren't allowed to set them off in public spaces.

I honestly don't know what you're looking at to think Southampton-Reading won't hit 3+ goals... for me, saying "no" doesn't mean it definitely won't happen, obviously... but if you actually checked the head-to-head stats, you'd see both sides are absolutely lighting up the scoreboard like crazy.

The home team is honestly such a mess right now with all these injuries. I mean, sure, they got Peković back, but they’re playing without their playmaker—and honestly, there's a good chance Barrea is out for today too. At this point, neither squad stands a remote chance at making the playoffs. Look at the Warriors; they went into Memphis and completely choked away a lead, and even the Lakers had a hell of a time grinding out a win against them. If you look at the stats, the visitors have the edge, sitting at 3-1 this season. Personally, I think they'll at least cover the spread.
