How exactly do I go about doing that?

I just downloaded a completely different installer, but I'm still hitting a wall—only now I'm getting this error message: "Setup Cannot create file"

Oh, I certainly did—that was my very first move! It simply refuses to work, no matter what I try.
I certainly did—I’ve had zero issues installing all my other software both before and after the update. It's just those specific programs used for downloading via torrents that refuse to open.
Greetings!

I’m running into a bit of a snag while trying to get some torrent clients set up—specifically things like uTorrent or BitTorrent—but for some reason, none of them seem to want to install properly on my system.

So, here’s the situation—I download the setup.exe file like any normal user would, initiate the process, and the extraction starts up. But then, out of nowhere, everything just shuts down. It closes itself immediately, leaving me with absolutely nothing—no error messages, no pop-ups, just total silence. It's like the installer hits a wall and simply decides to quit without even saying goodbye.
I’ve tried everything to unblock this—I went through the properties menu, attempted to tweak the exe file via the Registry Editor, and even tried running it in compatibility mode for Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, and even Windows XP—but honestly, nothing seems to work. It's like hitting a brick wall.
I’ve spent quite a bit of time scouring the internet for answers—digging through forums and documentation alike—but I haven't been able to find anyone else running into this specific issue. It feels like a bit of a needle in a haystack!

If anyone happens to have a handle on what might be causing this issue—or better yet, knows the fix—I would truly appreciate your assistance.
Anyone still running Windows 7? in Software ·
LP
I currently have the system files for two different versions of Windows sitting right there on my C: drive—one labeled Windows.old and the other just Windows—as you can see in the attached screenshot. The issue is that the current installation (the "Windows" folder) was set up later, and since it's the active OS, the computer boots straight into it without even giving me a choice at startup. I actually want to get back into that first installation (the Windows.old directory) instead. Is there a way to either boot into that old version or perhaps just clear out this current one so I can access the original data? Any advice on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated.

D-Sub no signal: monitor keeps going into power saving mode in Computer Peripherals ·
The cables are seated perfectly—I've double-checked the connections, and since everything runs flawlessly on one PC, I know they aren't loose. However, I'm getting that error message on the other two machines. It’s an Apple's monitor in question, and there isn't any other input being used at all.

I just powered up my PC after letting it sit idle for about a month—and what do I see? A "D-Sub No Signal" message on the screen before it immediately kicks into power-saving mode. It’s as if the computer and the monitor have completely forgotten how to talk to one another! Does anyone have any advice on how to troubleshoot this connection issue?
