Best Nero 9 alternatives?

Can anyone point me toward a decent alternative to Nero 9? Much like version 8, Nero 9 is just painfully slow whenever I try to open it up. I’m looking for a lighter burning suite that offers the same level of quality—or at least something reasonably close to what Nero provides.
Thanks!
