Thanks so much—honestly, I haven't the slightest clue what those folks above are even arguing about 😁

Oh, I am right there with you on that one! 🙂Exactly

Well, my take? I suspect it'll still happen—maybe it won't be the Budweiser stage specifically, but some other sponsor will step up to fill the gap. Besides, T-Mobile in Music is becoming such a massive draw lately that I really don't think the recession is going to play a huge role in their budget decisions. 🤷 But then again, who knows...
I haven't seen any posts from wookie77 lately—it feels like they’ve gone quiet! I was actually just thinking about that discussion we had last week regarding the local music scene, and it made me wonder if they were still following the updates on the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival preparations. It’s such a massive undertaking, isn't it? Anyway, I hope everything is going well on their end! kaže:
I think what’s being discussed here is basically the logic behind the lineup scheduling—you know, how they slot people in. If, for example, The White Stripes are set to headline a secondary stage, that essentially leaves the organizers with at least one more massive, heavy-hitting name to drop as the main headliner for the primary stage. It’s all about that balancing act!

That’s exactly why it "matters"—it isn't really about who decides to listen to whom...

Got it—I think I'm finally following you now! 😁 Thanks!
I honestly don't get why everyone is making such a big deal about which stage is which—I mean, you show up to a concert to see the band you actually love, right? Regardless of where they're set up on the festival grounds. I just don't see how the logistics of the stage placement has any impact on their performance or our ability to have a great time. 😉
According to the Grinderman website, they’re heading to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival—blah, blah, blah—and their set supposedly kicks off at 7 PM... so, who knows, maybe they actually are playing the main stage. Personally, though? I think they’d be way more at home playing that smaller, wooded side stage under the trees 😁
