The Verve - a Northern Soul (1995) I dig it, but since the full album isn't actually here, I’m passing on voting.
Madrugada – Industrial Silence (1999) The first couple of tracks really hit for me, but the rest of the record just drags. I guess I'll vote for it though, mostly because I haven't had the time to sit down and listen to the others properly.
Crowbar - time Heals Nothing (1995) I usually love metal, but somehow this one just didn't click for me.
I skimmed through the rest pretty quickly, so I can't really make a call on those.
Alright, sounds good. 🙂 I also just wanted to give a quick shout-out to Gene Clark; I hadn't actually listened to him before. I’ve always had a soft spot for 70s music, though. I think I'll be spinning this album for a while—it really hits the spot for me. "Strength of Strings" is probably my favorite track so far.
Why on earth can we see the poll results before actually voting? It doesn't feel particularly fair to me. :P Someone could just wait until the very last second to cast their vote just to tip the scales and win. I think it would be much more interesting if you only saw the results after you've submitted your own vote. Is there any way to set it up like that?
I haven't had enough time to get through all the albums yet; I was listening to Yello just now. But I definitely need a bit more time to listen to everything properly, so I'm still feeling pretty undecided about it.

There are just way too many albums to get through in such a short window. Honestly, maybe we should just set a limit of ten and make it first come, first served. I won't be able to wrap my head around the last two albums before time runs out, so I'll just stick to rating these others instead. 🙂
So, I’m still a little confused about how this poll actually works. I honestly thought you were only supposed to pick one option. It wasn't until later that I realized I could have voted for someone else too.
Whoa, why is everyone moving so fast? I didn't even get a chance to drop my 😁. No big deal, though. It just feels like there's a bit of a shortage of newer albums being discussed; it seems like everything being posted is from way back in the day. 🙂
Right now, I'm torn between the latest one, Calexico - Carried to Dust, and this 'this Mortal Coil - IT ` ll end in Tears ( 1984 )' record. I guess I'll need to sit with a few more options before I actually decide.
Since this whole thread—and those other ones about games and music—is a bit of a mess, I’m honestly surprised there’s such a massive rush to talk about it. 🙂 So, does that mean we start pitching new albums tomorrow? Is there some kind of master list somewhere showing everything that’s been released so far? Or maybe just anything else I should be aware of? 🙂
