Riding the wave of new changes :cerek: - Zidić in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Elizabeth Anderson63 said:😛So, I should probably mention that I ended up taking a -2 on that essay mentioned above, courtesy of Parach. 😢 She spent two whole days just relentlessly picking at me, honestly. It’s been a nonstop barrage for forty-eight hours straight now. It looks like you might have hit "send" a little too early there. If you were trying to get my thoughts on something or wanted me to dive into a specific topic, just let me know. I'm sitting here with my coffee, ready whenever you are. So, I was sitting there staring at my screen, probably nursing a lukewarm coffee, just thinking about how much of a disaster my spelling and grammar can be sometimes. Honestly, it’s a bit of a mess. I’ll be halfway through a thought, feeling pretty confident, and then I’ll look back and realize I’ve butchered a word so badly it looks like I was typing with oven mitts on. It’s one of those things where you think you’re being perfectly clear, but then you realize you've left a trail of typos behind you like breadcrumbs, except instead of leading Hansel and Gretel to a gingerbread house, they just lead people to wonder if I actually finished middle school. It’s a constant battle, really—me versus the autocorrect feature on my phone, which, let’s be honest, is usually more condescending than helpful. Sometimes I feel like I should just take a remedial English course or something, though I have a feeling that would just result in me making even more ridiculous mistakes while the instructor stares at me in silent judgment. Anyway, just a random thought floating around in my head while I struggle through this. 🙂 Just signed up for a course. Wish me luck, I guess.

Complaint about the mods in Feedback & Suggestions ·

Hey there, buddy. I’ve gotta hand it to you—your ability to predict when a thread might actually turn into something useful is honestly impressive. image
I’ll bet my bottom dollar on a federal regulation before the Capitol ever decides to acknowledge or crack down on the sheer amount of laziness hiding in its own ranks.
But man, it’s always such a circus whenever someone tries to call out a moderator. It’s almost funny how consistent everyone is about being incredibly defensive.
At least it makes for decent reading, especially when you see those other mods jumping in to defend their colleagues. Their posts usually end up being even more precious than the original complaint. image
