They set up an even narrower walkway by the East gates and added more fencing just to stop people from cutting straight into the ticket line instead of looping all the way back. Smart move, but only if you're looking at today's crowd.

Dana Richardson89 said:Walking through downtown Chicago today and saw some 6 or 7-year-olds playing in the plaza. A few feet away, I hear them screaming slurs at Jerry Jones for absolutely no reason. It really makes me think about what you said—that we're heading for a cliff. If we're lucky, we'll all be celebrating our total surrender pretty soon.

Speaking of which, watching the game this Sunday... there was this kid out on the east side, totally detached from the crowd. Just running around, playing, not even paying attention to the match. Then, out of nowhere, he joins in with a loud "Jerry Jones is a cheat!" 😍

They keep feeding us these endless scientific studies about "evolving fan extremism," pouring massive amounts of taxpayer money into prevention during spring break and importing foreign models to curb hooliganism. In reality, it’s always the same 15 guys in America—you see them in every other YouTube clip of a riot—but the government would rather go after the constitutional rights of everyone else just trying to buy a ticket to a game. They spend years debating hooliganism like it's some kind of nuclear terrorism threat, only for those same thugs to solve the whole issue in a single afternoon.

Just a quick ninety-minute stroll down Los Angeles before the match. Honestly, you'd think Obama himself was showing up or something:

Hope they aren't planning some bullshit over on the East Side too.

RIP 😢

What happened to him?

What kind of absolute nonsense is this? Imagine if there’s a massive rush on tickets and 10,000 people show up an hour before kickoff wanting to buy them. Are they really going to check everyone's ID and print names on the tickets just for some security guard at the gate to check it all over again? Total brain fade.

Maybe because there's like two dozen people actually on Gavin's legendary lists for the Rose Bowl.

urbanhawk17 said:Not happening. During the boycott, right after beating Villarreal CF, Dinamo played against Chicago at Maksimir Stadium. Entry was free and we saw maybe 10-12k people. Then Dinamo choked in the Europa League and the next Prva HNL match at Maksimir drew maybe 2-3k... and from there, it just kept tanking 😉

So yeah, I’m expecting maybe 1,000 people max at the stadium in two weeks.

There definitely wasn't 7,500 people yesterday like someone claimed in that Gent thread:

Maybe 3,500 tops

That win against Villarreal CF? Sure, the following game against Chicago in the Prva HNL probably pulled 10-12k. But then comes the loss to PAOK FC, and the first home game against Istria—where they were doing "buy one get one free" deals on tickets—and you had maybe 2,000 people.

Don't worry, once the first European loss hits and the early fall vibes kick in, attendance is crashing back down to triple digits.

Nobody's messing with the truth. You think I actually enjoy seeing that guy wrecking my club?

Just keeping it real. I'm not expecting much from a local inspector reporting straight to Bloomberg's office, but if the Department of Culture steps in, maybe we'll actually see some results.

Cheers

With this "top-tier" inspection being run by a Clintonian office, I'm half expecting them to come back and claim the stadium hot dogs are too greasy and the soup needs less salt. 😁

frozenbear1 said:Honestly, I can't even deal with how much the media is blowing this out of proportion again... watching the news on local stations just drives me insane. It’s like they’re acting like we leveled an entire state or something. It's pathetic how they won't even mention how many people were sent back home for totally minor stuff, or even address what actually triggered all this. It wasn't just about them showing up. Morons.

Well, what did you expect? You know the media is just dying for some guy from the BBB crowd to throw a punch at a game so they can start a total frenzy. These headlines are as predictable as ever. 🙄

It's just a shame that these articles by paid hacks are gonna overshadow all the great things and memories tied to the late Kuzhe.

They blocked it off. Had about 20 riot squad guys just chilling on the stairs.
Standard setup at the entrance—looked like a couple of State Troopers in black checking IDs, plus at least 20 more riot cops guarding the stands. I did a full lap around the stadium before the game started. There were maybe 3 or 4 patrol cars out, plus the same amount of unmarked vans packed with 6 or 7 cops each.

Even that wasn't enough for them; they even had two fire trucks stationed down by the South side. 🤣

This isn't some little kids' tournament, it's a deciding match against Mexico for the World Cup.

Mark Zuckerberg is one of us!!

p.s. A protest in front of the Democratic Party in Little Rock sounds like a killer idea!

A protest during the final round at the Lakers - Celtics game in Washington D.C.—the NFL Ultras show up + students + BBB... if other groups join, we’re looking at over 10,000 people.

What a country 🙂 🤮

Christian Miller48 said:Dinamo Chicago vs. Slaven Belupo 1-0

The Week 29 MLS match went down this past Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 7 PM in Washington, D.C. at Yankee Stadium. There were about 1,500 fans in attendance, but none from the Bad Boys crew. Basically, they had a list taped up inside the ticket booths—provided by the Department of Justice—naming everyone banned from the stadium due to court orders. Official word is that about 120 fans were turned away, so in a show of solidarity, the rest of the Bad Boys refused to enter, and some who already made it in just walked right back out. The Bad Boys also carried a banner dedicated to Mark Azapovic. They gathered in the parking lot behind the west stands, setting off flares and chanting their usual stuff against the cops for about 20 minutes before breaking up under the watch of DOJ special units.
...
*Mark Azapovic lived in a small town in the Midwest and was supposedly part of the Ultras, having been picked up by the Department of Justice several times. He was recently detained for an alleged crime, but after being released from the station, he passed away at home a few days later under mysterious circumstances. His parents claim he died from injuries sustained during police brutality, citing medical records that allegedly show bruising caused by DOJ officers. Fan groups across the board view him as a victim of police misconduct, which is why they carried signs saying Mark Azapovic R. I. P. (while R. I. P. usually means Rest In Peace, some say it actually stands for Repression and Police).

If whoever wrote this isn't burning in hell, then nobody is.

Neeeeeeeeeeeeee 🤣 🤣 😂
