The Mugen 4 seems pretty quiet based on the reviews, though I guess the Scythe Ashura and Ninja3 might actually cool a bit better—they just tend to be louder... so it really comes down to what you value more.

EDIT: So, the new Hyper 612S was priced at $120 🤣
.
Honestly, the cooler itself is great—maybe even slightly better than everything else suggested here—but I wouldn't personally shell out more than $100 for it, even with shipping included.
Yeah, it's definitely a bit weaker... I'd say the ranking goes: 212 EVO < Ereboss < Linus Tech Tips

I suggested the 2TB SSHD because I know how quickly storage fills up once you start downloading series, movies, and music.
As for the peripherals and the case, I picked them as if I were buying for myself; I didn't just go for the cheapest options, but rather chose based on my own taste. However, you'll likely find the best fit for your needs by choosing them yourself if you prefer.

If you already have a monitor, there’s no need for another one—unless you're planning to use an LCD TV instead.

If you were going with that build, I'd maybe swap that Asrock board for this one instead: http://www.newegg.com/details/product-link
It might be close, though I guess high-quality air coolers can actually outperform entry-level AIOs sometimes... for example:

Or maybe just a tiny bit better:

Meh... I'd probably just save my money $283 and go with an H81 board paired with a G1820 and 4GB of RAM. Honestly, even the integrated graphics on Intel's processor are likely better than that HD 3650

I guess you could always swap out the CPU or graphics card later on if you wanted to upgrade.

It doesn't seem like a huge upgrade 🙂 $217 compared to something like a GTX 560.

EDIT:

That price looks alright... though maybe $17 you could drop it a bit.

This game is pretty CPU intensive... I guess the first build gives you a stronger processor, better graphics, and more room for overclocking or upgrading the GPU later.

So, that new power supply isn't really worth even $50 😂... you might be able to pick up a used one for $27. Those Linkworld units are honestly some of the biggest pieces of junk out there when it comes to PSUs 😬

And I get that it costs $133, right? 🤣

EVGA NVIDIA GTX 7850 Graphic Card 2GB 860m PciEx, EVGA GTX 7850
MS PLUTOS case without power supply

You could probably save some cash $23 by going with a 500GB drive.

Maybe grab a slightly stronger GPU? You could also overclock things a bit, and that's a really solid cooler you can reuse in any future builds...

By the way, I have a feeling this motherboard might be the new king of the budget segment.🙂

I guess the GeForce GTX 750 and GeForce GTX 750 Ti on Maxwell architecture should be dropping in a few days, though they’re still stuck on 28nm—so maybe we're looking at Maxwell v0.9 for now.😁

So just follow these steps, you can't miss it:

Start/ Search programs and files/ type dxdiag/ run dxdiag.exe/ System/ and tell us exactly what it says next to Processor...

There isn't a CPU in the computer yet... we're trying to figure it out from the model number for now 😉

Just look between the FX-4 and the Athlon ii X2.

Basically, just tell us which one it is and we'll be able to figure it out. 🤣 :fpalm:

The model name is actually printed right on the board, probably somewhere near the PCI-e slot. I guess you should tell me what processor you're running so we don't end up suggesting some random GPU that won't work properly 😂

EDIT: You can probably figure it out from the model number on the CPU itself...
