We’re approaching the 30th anniversary of one of the most tragic moments in music history. On December 8th, news outlets, radio stations, and TV networks will all be looking back at the life and legacy of the eternal member of The Beatles—John Lennon—who was tragically taken from us in New York City by the shots fired by Mark David Chapman.
To mark the occasion, I’m actually putting together a 60-minute radio retrospective on one of my greatest musical inspirations.
I’ve been wondering: which songs from his days with The Beatles and his solo career best capture his essence? How can I best introduce his massive musical heritage to people who are just now discovering how this group became such a cornerstone of global culture?
Should I trace his journey from those early years, soaking up overseas rock 'n' roll hits, through the height of Beatlemania and receiving his honor from the Queen, all the way to his activism fighting to end the war in Vietnam and his advocacy for political and civil rights?
I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!
I have a few ideas already, but it always helps to go "with a little help from my friends."😉

If you were managing Dada, which major arena or venue in the States would you book for his show?
Do you think Dada Topić could actually sell out a massive venue like Madison Square Garden, or would he be more suited to a spot like the Boogaloo Factory, considering how much the musical landscape has shifted lately?
I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this.........
