You’re always whining about nothing at all 🙄
Or maybe you're one of those "intellectuals" who thinks they're somehow different from the idiots everywhere else?
Funny how you didn't have a single thing to say when it actually mattered.

You sure get talkative when you need to defend yourself. You went on a whole rant (what, are you running for Congress?) just to dodge two simple questions:
What’s even the topic here? On both counts, you just hit me with a "less chatter, please!"
Would you give yourself a failing grade right about now?

I'm not putting words in your mouth. You literally just said yourself that you don't get how people don't like cheese. Well, newsflash, I don't get how some people *do* like it either. Get it?
And just so we're clear—so you don't trip over any more cheese metaphors—this isn't actually about cheese.
It's about the fact that you can't handle anyone having an opinion that differs from yours.

I doubt they care much about political correctness in North Korea.

Maybe try practicing some reading comprehension.
We aren't in North Korea where we're told what opinions to have.
Or are we?

You're a lousy moderator because you act like your way is the only way. Whether it's complaining about political talk or saying I'm talking too much without saying anything, you just immediately write a bunch of people off as idiots. You don't accept different perspectives...
Take a second to look in the mirror.

At the top of the thread, it clearly states no chatting allowed, yet you guys keep breaking the rules anyway. Then, when you get penalized, you act like it's some huge injustice.
To me, the real injustice is how you people systematically ignore the fact that there are two distinct threads— one for chatting and one without.

Which one is even the chat thread? On both of them, you're just posting: "Less chatter, please!"
I regularly hand out bans to people who disrespect the order here, but if someone makes an intelligent point, I don't touch their posts. Honestly, I love it when other smart people jump in to keep the conversation going. It’s not off-topic; it’s just continuing the discussion.
It's just rare to actually run into anyone intelligent. Most people just want to whine about how much they hate the people they live with because they moved to a country full of absolute garbage.

So, are you gonna go ahead and ban yourself now?

Yeah, sure, someone saying they hate cheese might not be looking for a lawyer, but I have to mention it because you decided to judge them.
Look, people have a right to hate cheese! I hate it too! It's gross and stinks.
Go ahead, spit on me for saying that.
You can trash anyone who disagrees with you, but maybe ask yourself if that's actually okay.
Why shouldn't someone living next to Native Americans be allowed to say what they see?
Because they have to be politically correct?
They're just saying what most people already know.
We aren't in North Korea where we have to have whatever opinion we're told to have.
Or are we?
As soon as someone gets a tiny bit of power—even if it's just being a moderator on a forum—their true colors come out.
You've managed to drive away all the old-timers, and now you're claiming everyone else is just a bunch of idiots...
Pathetic.
Edward Thompson11 said:she just finished five rounds of radiation and starts chemo this Monday. That’s supposed to be three cycles total before she moves on to a stem cell transplant.

Since you brought up the stem cell thing, you better make sure Mom gets her dental work checked out and fixes any bad teeth while there's still time.
Once they prep her for the transplant, if those teeth aren't sorted, the doctors at the Mayo Clinic are just gonna pull anything that looks sketchy.
Edward Thompson11 said:She’s been diagnosed with multiple myeloma... About 40 days ago, she ended up in the hospital because of a pathological fracture in her spine. She’s had five rounds of radiation and started chemo this Monday, which should run for three cycles before they move on to a stem cell transplant. She’s stuck in bed the whole time, can't even move, since the tumor basically wrecked her vertebrae. The public hospital wouldn't agree to surgery, so I found a private clinic where they might be able to do spinal surgery in about ten days just so she can walk again, though it's a massive undertaking given where the tumor is located. They might discharge her from the state facility the day after tomorrow. Mom is hanging in there. I don't want to talk about prognoses, but they say you can live with this for decades... Mom is 59.

People keep pushing alternative stuff on me, but I just don't feel like I can take on that kind of responsibility. Some friends are insisting she needs to boost her system with homeopathic remedies and immune support. The doctors at the hospital aren't having any of it—they actually said it could interfere with the chemo. I'm lost. It feels like the logical move to just trust the doctors, especially now that the chemo has already kicked off. But honestly, some days they're willing to chat, and other days they act like you're invisible. Today is one of those "invisible" days and it sucks. Anyone got any actual, sensible advice? Thanks, guys.

Just hang tight until the chemo and radiation are done.
Once both of those are out of the way, things should start looking up.
Honestly, just listen to the doctors and tell everyone else to shove their unsolicited advice. It's easy for people to play expert when they aren't the ones dealing with the mess.
totally natural chestnut honey and honey-based products like honey blends,

Dexamethasone, like tanja5555 mentioned, spikes blood sugar, so she really needs to watch the honey intake.
