A friend of mine was just diagnosed with diffuse B-cell lymphoma. She was supposed to head in for her CT scan and her first round of chemo today, but the scan actually picked up some lung hemorrhaging instead. What does that even mean? Has anyone here dealt with this before? Any idea what her next steps should be? Please, if you know anything, let me know.

It’s my first time posting here. I actually came on to write about a friend who was recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, but after reading this, I just had to jump in.
I know exactly how you feel because I went through the same thing almost four years ago.
If I said I was totally fine now, I'd be lying. It still hurts, and honestly, I think it always will, but you eventually learn how to carry it.
You mentioned feeling that emptiness, but listen: don't let that void take over. Your dad accomplished something huge—he taught you how to live and how to handle whatever life throws at you. If he hadn't, you wouldn't be the amazing person you are today... Now, it's up to you to carry those lessons forward. That's not an empty space; it's his legacy. Keep your head up and show him you learned everything he had to teach.
