As for those "friends" who spend a fortune on designer labels and plastic surgery just to maintain this ultra-curated, "perfect" lifestyle? They’ve got a massive problem on their hands.

Give it a few years—once gravity inevitably takes its toll—and all those overpriced trips to high-end spas and fancy boutiques won't matter much when all they're left with is chronic back pain from wearing sky-high heels every single day.

In all seriousness, finding creative outlets actually helps—you know, those things where you look at the finished product and think, "Yeah, I actually made that"—it genuinely boosts your mood and builds actual self-esteem.

I realize it sounds like a total cliché, but beauty really does come from within; a happy person is a beautiful person, regardless of any little physical flaws. Besides, it's those tiny imperfections that make a woman truly irresistible.

Trust me, I know what I'm talking about.👍

Facts. Pure truth right there. 👍

What kind of logic 🤣
Total glass half-empty vibes 😁
How often should I be washing my hair? in Health ·
Every time I wash my hair, it ends up feeling dry, coarse, and just totally trashed.
But honestly, it’s always been pretty parched anyway—so I'm not exactly shocked.
Twice a week is my limit, tops.
So, get this... 🤣 🙏
I went full speed into some glass doors. Luckily, they were made of that reinforced stuff, 🤣
so much so that everything actually shook for a few seconds.
I don't mean I walk fast—I mean I basically sprint everywhere I go. Like, seriously. You can imagine how hard I hit those things.
The lady from my apartment complex came running over immediately, acting all concerned, but I could see it in her eyes—she was dying to laugh at me.

The best part? I slammed into them because I was convinced there was NO glass there.
Even better—it wasn't even my first time walking through (well, hitting) those exact same doors. 😂
Thank God for bangs, though. They totally hid the bump.
amberheron62 said:I deal with enough high-risk hobbies to rack up my fair share of bruises—but honestly? My favorite injuries are always the ones I’m too embarrassed to admit how I actually got.

Too true. I haven't picked up a single injury during MMA training that wasn't somehow worse than the stuff I do just tripping over things in my own living room.🤣
I’m pretty sure I hit my absolute peak when I decided to headfirst dive into a shallow pool.
The bottom was solid concrete 🤣
Look, it wasn't exactly clumsiness—it was more of a "hey, what if I do this?" moment. 😁

Sure, I was only 13 at the time, but honestly... that doesn't really change much. 😬

My recent streak of stupidity peaked when I slammed my bike straight into a massive curb. No clue what I was thinking. Okay, fine, it was way too late to swerve, but part of me was just hoping for some kind of miracle. 😁 😬
Pretty sure this elbow scar is sticking around for a while. 😁

What am I even supposed to say to you?

The issue isn't that they're "perfect"—it’s that you're making way too much of it. 😉

Honestly, sounds like you've got way too much time on your hands to be overthinking this stuff. It's good you finally found something to do, though. 👍
What was your first-ever paycheck? in Economy ·
Listed under the census at age 18.
Feeling extra thirsty lately? in Health ·
Probably just the heat.
I've been leaking like a broken faucet for the last month myself 🙂
Dealing with water retention in Health ·
I managed to sort myself out just by switching to the zone diet 👍
Though, honestly, I've been on Yasmin for ages—maybe once I finally quit, I won't even have to try this hard anymore.
Just a thought...
The other day I picked up some tomatoes at Walmart.
At the exact same time, my boyfriend brought home these gorgeous apples from the farmer's market—because let's be real, everything at a market is supposed to be better, right?

We sliced them open—and man, those market ones? Total disaster. Tasteless, mealy, mushy... just a mess.
But the ones from Walmart? Actually delicious. Juicy, bright red, perfect little green stems—honestly, perfection.

Honestly, you're being 😉
That’s all well and good.

But unfortunately, it just isn't enough 😁
Go rješavati your own mess. Work on yourself 😉 In every sense of the word.

Gregory Reyes said:redotter1, I’m actually jealous. 🙂
I bet that feels incredible.

As for my own issues....
Everything is fine, except for the envy, the possessiveness, and the total lack of a love life.
Honestly, I think I’d be the happiest person on the planet if she just moved away and I never heard a single word about her again.

Look, I don't think everything is "fine" 🙂

You can't live off other people's drama.
Mind your own business. 🙂 Focus on finding that "positive energy" you keep talking about.
If you actually did that, you wouldn't have the headspace or the time to obsess over her life anyway.
Jealousy in Psychology ·
Yeah, specifically the ones who don't have anything to do with it 🙂

Gregory Reyes said:I’m trying, believe me. It’s just that my toolkit is running pretty empty,
Most days I just tell myself, "Stop obsessing over her, you idiot, get a life!"
Then I try to go do something else. But honestly? It doesn't always work...
Things are better now, I guess. Mostly because I’m killing it at work compared to her. One of the best on the team. But just the thought that she might actually start catching up to me is driving me insane. So, I’m working. A lot. Overtime, constantly. And I can't keep this up forever. I keep telling myself how stupid it is to be this worked up—that people out there have real problems while I’m here burning myself out—but... I don't know. I just can't help it.

I didn't ask about her.
I'm asking about you. 😉
What are *your* problems?
Jealousy in Psychology ·
Gregory Reyes said:I wouldn't say I'm in love. 🙂 At least, I don't think I am.

I just soak up her... positive energy. She always looks so happy. So loved.

Which is honestly terrible, because I find myself feeling weirdly content at the thought of their marriage hitting a rough patch. Like, maybe they’re actually struggling behind closed doors.
And look, I'm not a bad person. But these thoughts... they really eat at me.

Being a mess isn't the end of the world if you're actually doing something about it.😁

What's your actual situation?
Are you fixing your own messes?
Working on the stuff that's eating you alive?
Jealousy in Psychology ·
Gregory Reyes said:She got married and just... completely ghosted me. And look, I’ll admit it—I can be a little possessive. Okay, maybe a lot more than a little.
So, naturally, I ended up pissed. She was totally head over heels for him, and before I knew it, we had just drifted apart...

So you fell for her? 😁
I'm being dead serious here. 😁

What is she providing that you aren't getting from yourself? 😉
Actually, what do you *think* she offers?
Or better yet—what are you actually draining from her?
Jealousy in Psychology ·
Wait, how did you guys drift apart?
What actually went down?

Did you feel that way back when things were still good between you two?
Lost in space in Psychology ·
Interesting, and kind of familiar too. Personally, I don't freak out—I know I can navigate my way out of any jungle 😁

The bottom line is this: what’s the absolute worst-case scenario? You actually get lost. So what? You’ve got a phone—call a friend. There are people passing by—ask them. Just ask. And ask again. It's not like the sky is going to cave in on you 😁
I get that it’s a specific kind of irrational fear. But you've gotta face that stuff head-on, and this is the perfect chance to do it 🙂
You’re so busy panicking about getting lost that you can’t even see the street right in front of your face. It's pointless.

Try to actually pay attention to the details (those landmarks and hills mentioned are solid cues)
If you need to head down, go down. If you need to head up, go up 👍 Forget about the maze of streets and all that nonsense.

Sounds stupid, but it’s true. You can't really lose

When you're in tight spots—look at storefronts, clothing shops, newsstands. Open your eyes, engage that visual memory, and the fear disappears.
