Hey Edward Peterson70, I’ve got a quick question for you now that I’m here—which one actually has a better price-to-performance ratio? Is it the Core 2 Duo E8400 or the Core 2 Quad Q6600?
I'm not entirely sure which cooler I've got installed, but I'm pretty sure it isn't the stock one
Intel Core i5
Gigabyte P35-DS3 motherboard.
2x2GB Kingmax 800MHz RAM.
Seagate ST3500820AS 500 GB hard drive—SATA 300 MB/s, NCQ support, 7200 RPM.
I was looking at the Corsair 450W unit earlier—not exactly a powerhouse, but it gets the job done if you aren't trying to run a high-end gaming rig. It’s fine for a basic setup, though I wouldn't recommend pairing it with anything too power-hungry. Just a thought.
The Sharkon Rebel 9 economy—it’s a bit of a mixed bag, honestly. I was looking into it the other day while thinking about my own setup, and there are definitely some trade-offs you have to weigh before jumping in. It’s not exactly a slam dunk, but it has its moments.
Can anyone tell me if it's actually possible to overclock this CPU?
Intel Core i7
Thanks!
