I find myself in somewhat of a predicament regarding software requirements for my woodworking endeavors. I am specifically looking for a program tailored toward wood—not anything designed for aluminum or PVC fabrication, mind you. My focus is strictly on designing furniture, custom kitchen cabinetry, and similar pieces. I have spent a fair amount of time wandering through the various links provided above, though I must admit, I haven't stumbled upon anything useful, perhaps because I lack the specific terminology to identify what such a program might actually be called. If anyone here happens to work in the trade or might possess the knowledge of what these programs are termed, I would be immensely grateful for any guidance you could offer.
Thanks

Even though most people think this thing is just for sketching out house layouts or backyard decks, I’ve found it works surprisingly well if you’re trying to design custom furniture pieces, and honestly, after putting it through its paces, I can say it’s actually quite solid and straightforward enough for anyone to pick up without losing their mind.👍
